If we're gonna compare turns, I actually think Maxxine is MUCH closer to Rhea/Dom with Maxxine in Dom's spot. That's a babyface (Maxxine/Dom) getting in a toxic heel relationship (Austin/Rhea) that's been teased for ages and turning on family (Alpha Academy/Rey).

Liv/Dom was much more her seducing Dom and working with the Judgement Day to turn on Rhea/Damian for revenge. There's none of those elements here.
