Alright, so a relatively normal-ish Raw? Based on what happened.
1) So Seth might be losing. Too early to call but if Seth gets the upper hand again next week, then maybe that will be the case. I mean, the story makes sense. Seth presented himself as the one guy Roman can’t beat, and then he gets beat. It’s straightforward and been proven to work in the past.
2) Not gonna lie, this Maxxine Dupri-Austin Theory storyline is kinda…yeah.
3) Ever since the El Grande Americano mask vs. mask match, Chad Gable has been who I’ve been watching on Raw. So you know what, that’s the match I’m looking forward to the most. Gable vs. Penta.
4) The Knight-Solo-Keys vs. Bloodline match has “opening match” vibes for Summerslam.
5) Hmm…I’m actually not sure if WWE is gonna go through with Iyo Sky beating Liv at Summerslam. Part of me is starting to worry that they gave Iyo the win last time so they can say, “Oh, well, it makes sense to giv Liv the rematch win so it’s even”.
6) Did we really need a restraining order angle for Brock and Heyman? Also, I’m late on this point, but regarding some fans saying that other fans were stupid for thinking that Oba Femi had given up his title opportunity and he was just delaying the challenge. From what I read online, Oba really did give up the title shot entirely. Unless WWE changes course, then yes, the King of the Ring tournament was mostly pointless.
Apparently, the reason was to delay Roman-Oba (so another clue that Seth is losing). But if that’s the case, then WWE wrote themselves into a corner. They should’ve just had Seth win KOTR. But I digress.
