Alpha Client
a custom theme based on the new ‘alpha’ league of legends client that hit live servers in 2016.
heavy inspiration was drawn from the sleek look and feel of the updated client, the same dark teal + gold border theme was used for contrast, in addition to maintaining a sense of minimalism.
clicking the blog’s avatar toggles the description, making it easier to read in cases where the description is far too long for the box.
the blog’s banner is displayed at the top, blurred out ever so slightly and at a low enough opacity to not be a distraction.
posts are spaced fairly enough to not be a strain on the eyes, and several assets from the client were emulated in order to stay as true as possible to the source.
finally, the four main links ( home, ask, about, archive ) are present in the sidebar, along with an option of 8 custom links leading to wherever you need them to.
