Is there a set point for the loss of memory?

Yes. Scott was never turned, so really that’s the cursory point, but the players of the Hales have decided to go as far back as the Hale fire and alter their memories from right after the fire and forward. Everyone is entirely in control as to where in that time frame the alterations start, as long as they are altered prior to Scott being bitten. 

For example, Scott was turned in season one, when we met a majority of the characters. We know some basics from this to build a different story through the rest of the high school years/time during the seasons. Any and all questions about our in progress plot planning are welcome, we want everyone to fully understand the plot and if we can clarify anything, just let us know.

Hello to all of our lovely members! It's alpha Cyn here, with a quick update :) Our current event is going wonderfully, and it comes to a close this Friday at midnight (technically 12am on Saturday), and in order to keep from catch up paras, the other admins and I have agreed that everyone effected by the spell has a brief run in with their AU self. This encounter can be a drabble/self para, but it need not be posted until Saturday. An activity check will probably be up tonight.

Hello everyone! Alpha Cyn here, popping in to congratulate everyone on how great the current event “In Another World”! Everyone is active in it, and it’s so much fun to see all the creative realms clashing. As soon as we're able, the last of our event AUs will be added to our post.

The official first task is in the works, and it will be up after our event ends on the 15th. Keep in mind that the group tasks are NOT mandatory, but they are encouraged. :D

Even with the lack of them, no one has needed to be on activity check in a while. It's great to see and we encourage everyone to tell their friends about us, we're always accepting. A special gift for everyone is something I'm working on, but keep up our awesome activity!

The Spell Reversed

Our deaged event has officially come to a close!

Maryssa, the sole surviving druid not effected by the spell that backfired, has found a way to fix it. Helping her is Stiles Stilinski, who’s control over his awakened powers is impressive to say the least. What could possibly go wrong?

Maryssa wasn't sure what she expected. This was certainly not what she had expected, but she knew she couldn't do it by herself; the spell required a minimum of two people. Not to mention the last time she had tried to do anything magical, it had ended with the adults being teenaged. But Jennifer had taught her to not let the past define her, and she was out to prove one mistake wasn't all her. So as she drove across town to the Stilinski home, she felt excessively nervous. But she needed Stiles' help. He was magically inclined, and with a lot of power. The boy had also learned very quickly on how to control his ability, and Maryssa had faith that he would be able to adapt to the spell that would reverse the effect of the previous spell.  She hummed along with the radio in her car, finding her way to the little house where the only person able to help her lived. She noted that the jeep was present, and hoped the lights in the living room meant Stiles was actually home. Getting out, she locked her car and headed up to the door. She jumped a little when as she reached the next to last stair, the door unlocked and Stiles was silhouetted before her.

"What's he want?" the teen's voice was calm as he leaned against the frame for a moment.

"Theo didn't send me." Maryssa wasn't even sure if he knew she was here or not. As she'd told him; she didn't believe in coincidence, and she needed to fix this. With an alpha or not, she would always do her job as she was supposed to; protecting. And right now, that meant fixing the adults of the town. "I'm here on my own accord."

Stiles eyed the older woman, amber hues taking in her form. "Alright, so what is it you're wanting?"

"I need your help."

Honey colored eyes rolled. "Yeah, I got that by your being on my doorstep. What kind of help do you need that requires me rather than one of your pack?"

"No one in my pack is magically strong enough for this."

Stiles actually laughed. "And you think I am?"

"Well, I don't think it's some coincidence that you learned such great control in so short of a time." Maryssa countered. "You have a gift, Stiles. One that helps you level the playing field. And right now, I'm sure you've noticed the playing field isn't as even as it should be."

Stiles looked at her, briefly frowning. "You mean the adults." he said simply. "Yes, I am well aware that some of our beloved grown ups have gone back to the disco." Not literally, eh didn't think Chris or Peter were that old, but it made sense in context of the moment. "And how can I help?"

"I need your help at the place where the last spell was cast. I would do it alone if I could, but it would kill me. I need someone with enough power to balance everything." Maryssa explained, watching him. "Colin and Jennifer are both too affected by the backfiring to control their magic or even harness it correctly."

"Which  leaves me." Stiles gave a soft sigh. He wanted to say no, truly he did, because he was so damn tired of risking his life for this town. But then he thought of Peter and Chris - so lost because of what was going on. Of Colin; so easily angered. Of Jennifer - so innocent and honestly a way he had not expected of the former druid. He took a long moment before he sighed and nodded.

"Alright, come on, let's get this over with."

Stiles stood near the Nemeton, directly across from Maryssa. The woods were entirely still - almost deathly muted. It made the hair on his arms stand up. But if this helped his pack, he would deal with the it. He watched as Maryssa finished the sigils, tilting his head. "Okay, so all we do is focus our energy?"

Maryssa nodded. "That was the way the spell read." she replied. She looked up at the teen. "You ready, Stiles?"

"Ready as I'm gonna be." Stiles said, shrugging. "So this will reverse the spell from last time?"

"Yep. And all of the grown ups go back to normal."

"Alright, then let's get going. I am ready for my pack back." He followed the other druid's lead to the tree, placing his hands in a mirroring fashion, closing his eyes and focusing on the inner fire he possessed, feeling the energy spark from the weakened tree stump. He could feel the heat swirling down his arms. He could feel the strength and he smiled, this was actually working. He didn't open his eyes, afraid of what he would see. And then something changed. His body started getting weak, and he groaned. The wind luckily picked up and gave a breeze, so he was grateful for a brief reprieve from the silence.

"Stiles?"

He gave a nod. "I'm okay, Maryssa." he said. "Just a little longer, right?"

"Less than thirty seconds left." Maryssa said, nodding a little. A sudden pain in her side had her looking down, gasping as the thing she saw. A dog like form was cawing at the energy keeping it at bay. Standing behind it was another form like the one that had appeared the night they had killed La Bete.

"We are going to get rid of the ones like you." the voice was oddly feminine, and it sent a chill down the druid's spine.

"We just want to fix a mistake." Maryssa replied. "Leave us alone." The sound of a scream had her turning back, gasping as she saw Stiles weakening and in clear pain. She pulled her hands back, the energy starting to fade as she moved towards him, stopping as the dog shape growled. "Let him go." She stared the other form down. "I said," she paused, reaching a hand out to the tree and smiling softly as she was granted with a swirling orb. "Let. Him. Go." The pair wavered, the woman pausing, clearly taken back by the power surge. There was a long moment before the wind died down again, the two forms vanishing as Stiles fell to the side. "Stiles!" she rushed over, dropping to her knees and pulling him into her lap. There was still breath, his heart still beating, albeit slow. She moved to stand up, forcing herself to drag him back to her car, laying him as best she could. "Oh god, don't die on me, kid. Stay with me." she pleaded, buckling him and yelping as she hit her head on the door frame. She hurried to the driver's side, hitting the gas pedal and speeding all the way to the hospital. She ran inside the doors and begged for help, leading two of the doctors out and explaining that she'd found him in the preserve. As they carried him inside and put him on a gurney, she felt her chest hurt. This next battle had just proven was going to be a rough one.
