something, something, Baelor x Maekar omegaverse au, this time about their grandchildren, Dunkaerion and Valaeron kids

I feel like this is going to be way too long 😭

from Dunkaerion:

first of all, they're all gigantic, to the point that every time Aerion gets pregnant whole castle is worried (Maekar tried to interfere once, trying to talk some sense into him, but Aerion clocked him that he had 8 kids so he's not really an example)

their first grandchild, Saera, was born in Lys and nobody had a clue until Aerion came back for his brothers wedding. considering who birthed her, she's actually a very sweet and outgoing girl, with those Targs hair and big blue eyes (she was lowkey spoiled by Maekar, that's his first grandbaby)

then came Maegor, who's thankfully very different from the og Maegor... he's shy, not very talkative, often hiding behind his parents when they're out in public. I wanna say he's got mixed Targs and dark blonde hair and also those puppy eyes (blue but also kinda violet yk) (Baelor is very fond of him actually)

I wanted them to have twins but Aerion might not survive that one 😭 so next up is Visenya, who's inherited Aerion's unhinged personality and is his mini me, but she also picked Baelor as her favourite (much to his horror) and is constantly looking for him

and fourth (and the last one for now 😭) is Aerea (I picked this name bc it sounds similar to Aerion, AND her story is so interesting), and it's ironic because she's almost Dunk's twin, although she's the tiniest of their babies (wait maybe she should have purple eyes?) she's also heard way too much stories about hedge knights from Egg and currently wants to become one (much to Aerion's horror)

so yeah, three daughters and one son, at least for now...

from Valaeron:

they had kids late in their marriage, when Daeron was ready to do it, and then they had twins on their first try...

so twin boys, they both resemble Valarr most, with mismatched eyes and their hair being a mix of brown and white (much to Valarr's disappointment, he wanted them to look like Daeron), and I have no clue how to name them, maybe Baelon to honor Baelor? I mean, he's alive here but still? or maybe they went DIY, like Maenys, Rhaelor, Vaeron? I truly don't know

Older twin, despite being the heir, is actually closer to Daeron, always asking about his dreams. he's trying to act responsible and honorable, but actually is very worried about the future and doesn't really think he's suited for the crown (he doesn't share this with his parents, not wanting to disappoint them, but at some point he tells Baelor and they bond over it I guess?)

Younger twin inherited some of Daeron's dreams but like in a smaller scale? I imagine him as kinda cat-like, grumpy, often napping during the day, also writing his dreams in a diary. but despite that, he's also keen on participating in tournaments (kinda like Valarr his age)

and then a girl, obv Vaella (Maekar's favourite btw), she's still a sweet girl, I wanna say kinda living in her own world, I mean, not really that different in personality than canon ig, she's also a few years younger than her brothers, at least 5, so maybe that's also telling when it comes to their family dynamic?

I think it's obvious about who was I thinking more 😭

Valaeron and Baekar happening in the same universe is so funny to me.

Like poor Daeron II was there thinking his perfect eldest son understood the importance of his duty to the realm and why marrying Jena would he best. Only for said perfect son to run away with his younger brother and go through a shotgun wedding with a sept held at swordpoint.

Flash forward years later Baelor and Maekar have been happily married for however many years, raised a whopping eight children together, and Baelor has been crowned king, Maekar his queen. Obviously now with his new role as king Baelor finally understands his father's side and is just grateful his own children have never put him through the politics of broken bethrothals.

... only for his own perfect eldest son (Valarr) to run away with his younger brother (Daeron) and yet again hold a secret wedding (though valarr was less violent in his methods of gaining a septon to perform the rites)

Ok so Valarr gets Aerion pregnant (Valarr swears up and down that it was an accident he was being careful and he looks half devastated half something else, something warmer, Aerion just shrugs and smirks and everyone chucks it up to the mischievous hormonal omega and all)

Maekar almost has a stroke

Baelor sighs, pats his son on the back (Maekar glares at Baelor because bitch do not be encouraging this is Bad)

Aerion eats his nuts and then he throws up and gets all upset about it, distressed omega scent in the air, getting the alphas in the room worked up about how to fix it— so the argument dies down for a moment.

And it doesn’t really get picked up again. Aerion just seems content instead, like nothing could ever be wrong with the world.

Valarr and Aerion get married in spring.

Aerion is a good mother. There is nobody who can, now, deny that. Even though people had been at the very least scared for Maegor’s fate, at first. Cruelty, as it may, might not be as one dimensional as it is deemed. Aerion would die for his children. He would also kill, maul, disfigure for them. The cruelty has been redirected towards keeping his family safe. And Valarr has never known he truly wanted to be a father. It seemed like something that had to be done, for duty, as his father’s undeniable heir. It was never something truly certain, however much it had been expected. Now Valarr cannot imagine a world without his children.

Aerion he was always going to have, one way or another.

I was watching SNL skits on Youtube, when I came across this oldie but a goodie.

And now, Baelor and Valarr have to switch bodies.

- Daeron is the omega. Aerion is a beta.

- Daeron as the semi stand in mother for the other Maekarlings since Dyanna died (after Rhae's birth) but out of his own volition. Something which Maekar was secretly grateful for him for but ofc never told Daeron aloud.

- It's what endeared him to Valarr more; that, and the fond childhood memories Valarr had of Daeron. It's easy, being around him, and Valarr knew back then that there was no one else he'd want to marry.

- Which was why when his marriage prospects were discussed, this time with a more solid name of a daughter of a Tyroshi Archon, Valarr put his foot down and asked to be bethroted to Daeron instead. He realizes later, with his request granted, that it's what made his father prouder of him.

- Maekar, surprisingly, wanted to refuse at first, though for the reason that he was yet to hear Daeron's opinion on the matter of marrying Valarr as he never once expressed his wish to. He does relent eventually knowing Valarr's character, and as Daeron pointed out for him, it's not like Maekar has any choice on the matter when the word came from the king.

- Daeron only turned wistful at the news at the beginning, albeit a little surprised himself that his valiant cousin would consider him for a spouse who will, eventually, stand as his queen. It's a rather huge responsibility in the future, but Daeron is said to have shrugged and sighed, muttering, "makes sense". He shook his head briefly before a small smiled bloomed on his face, visibly fond at the thought of Valarr.

- Aerion, as a beta, still has a claim to Summerhall over his younger alpha brothers Aemon and Aegon. But with a protectiveness developed for his older omega brother, he decides to pass his claim over in lieu of being Daeron's sworn knight instead, if not one of the White Cloak once Valarr sits as King.

- Aerion grows quickly bored of the Red Keep a few moons Valarr and Daeron were wed, however, and if anything, Aerion only grew better with arms. It's something he strives for, more so when Daeron became pregnant as soon as the second moon from their marriage.

- His first nephew was Baelon, to honor Valarr's father and the Summer Prince. He's a red squalling thing with silver-gold hair but the blue eyes of his omega father. Daeron thought their first child would resemble Valarr more, but they both loved their first boy nonetheless.

- Their second child is a daughter, one that Daeron actually wept over and called Vaella. She has the dark brown hair of her alpha sire and the purple eyes of their blood. "I've been waiting for you," Daeron was heard whispering to her. "I thought you will be lost to me."

- The third child arrived after Vaella's 2nd year. A boy with the name of Rhaegar, head full of silver but with the mismatch eyes of green and blue. He's a quiet one and Daeron's easiest birth.

- Daeron is visited by dreams still, though they're more muddled images than a vision with an unclear meaning. He fears the day they will become clear to him and he'll be helpless to figure them out. But so far, they've been manageable, probably when their children are enough to wear him down to sleep.

- And besides, it isn't the first time he lived through this life--although the previous one is more different than the current one he's living in. But he's brought back for a reason, and the gods, for some damnable reason, deem him the best person to be returned.

Aegon couldn't have come sooner with that huge hedge knight.
