Manon is the eldest alpha and so by hierarchy, she’s the pack alpha. Sophia is the eldest omega so well she’s the pack omega and Maphinz are like their established parents.

Their leadership comes in different ways.

Sophia is the nurturer, Manon is the protector.

Sophia is the leader of Katseye. She makes sure everyone is on top of their schedules, she’s their spokesperson, but she’s also their mom. She cooks for everyone, nurses anyone who is sick, and they run to her for all their problems and beef with each other.

Manon is not one to care about the logistics of KATSEYE such as public image or schedules or meetings with the management. That’s Sophia’s forte and she lets Sophia handle that. But she does handle everything else that Sophia can no longer handle.

Sophia is panicking because of a performance that seems unready? Manon is shouting and ordering everyone to get their shit together and to work twice as fast so they can get this show going.

Sophia is having a headache and the members are being rowdy? Manon doesnt even have to say anything. She just releases intense pheromones that’s enough for the rest of the katz to stop dead in their tracks as they all look to Manon who just glares at them. Sophia smiles in thanks as she leans her head on the alpha’s shoulders to get some rest and Manon internally screams in joy.

When something bad happens, like Dani accidentally being fed something she’s allergic to while on a show, Sophia is the first to aid and help Dani. Giving her meds and giving breathing exercises to the girl and calming her with her omega pheromones.

Meanwhile Manon is growling angrily at the staff for their negligence, making sure that the staff are calling for help and medical assistance ASAP all the while reminding everyone to do their fucking job correctly and that if something bad happens to their group mate, they will personally answer to her.

Manon is also in charge of teaching Yoonchae all about being an alpha (in the same way Sophia is in charge of teaching omega!Megan). “There’s a line between being protective and possessive. Omegas like Sophia and Megan hate it when you make decisions for them and when you act like they can’t handle themselves. So make sure to give them space but also to check in every once in a while to see if they’re okay.”

And Sophia is just listening to Manon teach Yoonchae everything she knows about how to treat omegas well and her heart swoons.

So in my mind if yoonchae were to present as an alpha i think she should be a confused for an omega frequently due to the way she acts because most of the figures she looked up to were omegas, like Sophia as her legal guardian and yoonchae just taking notes on how to do thing by seeing sophia doing it 🕴️

This is actually one of the best omegaverse! Yoonchae HC I've heard.

Cause Yoonchae is really close with Megan and Sophia, and that would really affect her behavior as an alpha, cause Sophia is an omega and Megan is basically a subby puppy alpha.

When she got her first rut, she'd probably try to use Sophia's heat suppressants and Sophia would just be like “ aaawn baby you can't use those, we have to get some specifically for you ” and Yoonchae is just confused cause Sophia uses it when she's in heat.

I feel like Lara would be the one to teach Yoonchae how to be a proper alpha, cause they're also really close and Lara is always teaching Yoonchae how to be confident and stand up for herself. I don't really think they'd teach her dominance, like you don't have to be a dominant alpha.

People think Manon is the scariest cuz she’s the pack alpha but that’s actually not true. Because if there’s anyone Manon bows down to and is scared of…it’s her omega.

Sophia does not take bullshit from anyone. The most she can tolerate is Yoonchae and Megan because those are her babies. But anyone else? God the Katz are running for their life.

Sophia also has generational wealth and is incredibly rich in this au (which is like true to life anyway). And therefore she has immense connections and can ruin anyone’s life in the industry in just a single word.

One time a producer kind of treats them badly and is rude to the girls during an interview. There are some questionable clips taken too (like from uncomfortable camera angles etc). Manon is definitely angry and she confronts the producer, but anger is counterproductive right now because nothing will happen. So Sophia holds her girlfriend back, and is now staring down at the producer with those sharp mean girl eyes.

“I have direct contact with the sponsors funding your shows.” Sophia says.

“And what about it?“

“If you use your brain for a minute, which I think you have difficulties with doing, that means that I can have them pull out all their support in a single text message. Now if you don’t want to be blacklisted in the industry with zero funding, you will delete those videos by the end of today.”

“You don’t mean that—“

And Sophia says that with a sweet condescending smile that had the producer and the rest of the girls shaking. She walks away and the girls soon follow, with Manon mumbling: “she’s so fucking hot” and Dani groaning “keep it in your pants idiot”

After that time, they know not to test Sophia because they know what it is she’s capable of.

She’s merciless in her punishments and she makes sure you learn your lesson. She won’t go as far as to ruin the katseye girls when they piss her off because those are her family, but her punishments are still brutal.

One time Manon and Lara were being too rowdy and accidentally knocked over the painting Yoonchae was doing. Yoonchae being so fucking angry because she was painting it for Megan so she growls at the other two alphas. They wrestle in the living room and they end up hitting Dani on the couch and knocking over the shelf.

Spphia is soooo enraged. She does not shout when she’s angry (contrary to Manon). But she has such a cold face and voice that it sends shiver down their spines. The punishment include Manon sleeping on the couch for two weeks, Lara having to be Sophia and Dani’s (who is an unfortunate victim of the crime) personal assistant and driver for two weeks, and Yoonchae isnt allowed to sleep over at Megan’s room also for two weeks. The three alphas complain about it but they cant do anything because their pack omega’s rules are final and irrevocable.

Yoonchae has always been Sophia’s baby. She was adorable, cute, kind of shy, but always so caring and mindful of everyone. But everything changed once she presented as an alpha.

Now she’s always grumpy and growling, and she has this kind of macho misogynistic mentality that is growing more obvious as time goes by. Sophia is an omega and is her dorm mate, so of course she’s the first to notice the change because she is experiencing the change first hand.

“Sophia, can you clean my room and do my laundry?”

“…Yoonchip that’s your room.”

“Yeah. So? It’s your job to clean. You’re an omega.”

Yoonchae leaves right after saying that and Sophia’s feels her gut plummet to the ground because wtf that just came out of her child’s mouth?

Except it happens again.

They’re in a hotel in one if their tour stops so all six of them are together. Yoonchae woke up in a foul mood and is snooping around the kitchen for something to eat and she sees Sophia cooking them breakfast.

“Is that food? I’m hungry.”

“Yep. It’s almost done, give me a minute—“

“Well hurry it up!”

And Yoonchae suddenly slams her fist on the table and shouts at Sophia. Like actually shouts.

Sophia flinches and whimpers at the shout and shock that an alpha—and not just any alpha—is yelling at her.

The members are quick to come to the aid of their omega leader, with Manon (who is also an alpha and is kind of their pack alpha) staring down and growling at the youngest alpha to stand down.

“What the fuck is wrong with you, Yoonchae?” Lara asks, pulling Sophia into a comforting hug.

Yoonchae is about to roll her eyes but stops when she realizes. Sophia and Megan—the omegas in their group—are scared and trembling and they look like they’re about to cry and are being comforted by a glaring Lara and Dani respectively. And Manon who is in front of the girls, protecting them from…Yoonchae?

And then it sinks in.

What the fuck is she doing?

She apologizes and looks down at the guilt and of the idea that the girls do not feel safe with how she’s acting.

The alphas pull her away and tell her that it’s not and will never be okay to think that way. Tells her that those kind of mindset is dangerous and they should treat their omegas with respect.

“Apologize to Sophia.” Manon says in a serious voice like it’s an order.

“I don’t know what to say…” Yoonchae stutters.

“Find the right words. I don’t care. That’s your mother, Yoonchae.” Manon orders with finality, “Apologize to Megan too.”

Yoonchae buys two flower buoquets the next day along with Megan and Sophia’s favorite snacks and food.

She apologizes to Megan first who just nods and hugs her. Yoonchae felt the hesitance in the hug and it tugged on her heart because she really did mess up.

And then she apologizes and sobs to Sophia and she admits that she feels so bad for making Sophia feel that way and Sophia is smiling softly because at this point, she has already forgiven Yoonchae anyways even without asking for forgiveness. She accepts the peace offering of the flowers and bouquet and reaches up to hug Yoonchae. She can never be angry at her baby, no matter how rebellious she might have been for the last few days.

“Make it up to Megan properly. She might not give you a chance if you don’t.”

And Yoonchae blushes because wow, her mom knows about her crush.

megan and yoonchae had been attached by the hip since forever and even before they both turned 18 and presented, they’ve already had a crush on each other. Things changed when they presented though.

Megan is avoiding yoonchae and yoonchae doesnt know why and she’s so frustrated about it that she actively pursues Megan to ask for an acceptable reason.

Plus Yoonchae had kind of a toxic alpha stage, and she starts acting so possessive of Megan. Glaring at everyone even looking at the omega’s direction, disagreeing when Megan wants to go out and party with friends, huffing when the girl wears revealing clothes. Megan used to like Yoonchae because she was sweet and charming. At one point, when Yoonchae shouted at Sophia during breakfast, that’s when she realized that she didn’t know the alpha anymore.

It takes a while but Yoonchae manages to get the trust and love of everyone again (Megan couldnt help but say yes and forgive the alpha who looked like a kicked puppy everytime Lariela pulls Megan away from her).

Also yes, Sophia and Megan being the only omegas in the group means they share a strong bond. I think that after yoonchae presents as an alpha, Manon insisted that they change the rooming arrangements. So now Sophia and Megan are rooming together since theyre both omegas, Danon, and then Yoonara.

Sophia is sooo overprotective of Megan. Like that is her first baby !! She may have hesitated to scold and be angry at Yoonchae when the maknae acted up with her and shouted at her, but she will not hesitate to throw hands and knock some sense into the youngest alpha if ever she hurts or even makes Megan uncomfortable.

I think in terms of dynamics, since Megan is the youngest omega, everyone in the group is automatically protective of her. Sophia is an older omega and their leader, so they usually trust that she can handle herself. Except for Manon who is so protective of the girl. Like she is their pack alpha but she is sooo whipped for their pack omega Sophia.

I think Lara could be an alpha and Dani could be a beta who balances them all (she is soooo tired of everyone’s shit).

In this HC, I think that you have signs on what you are prior to presenting. Like based on personality and all like people can already guess what you’ll present as even before turning 18. After presenting, that’s when the biological changes happen + the heats and ruts and pheromones.

The KATSEYE protocol (which has been decided on by the management and agreed upon by the members) for heats and ruts is that they sHOULD always be using suppressants and scent blockers as to not trigger any one else’s ruts/heat. If someone goes on a heat or rut, they usually have to lock themselves in. While it’s not necessarily illegal for them to help each other during said heats and ruts, it hasn’t actually happened yet because they’re all too careful as to not mess up the group dynamics.

Sophia and Manon are the pack omega and alpha by default but it’s not like anyone else is against it because their personalities fit it as well. They’re the ones keeping everyone in place as the Katz parents and they (well mostly Sophia) tries their best to be a good example.

So when Maphinz start catching feelings for each other and when Manon actively pursues Sophia, Sophia tries her best not to entertain the alpha so as to “set a good example” and preserve the group dynamics. Manon was heartbroken at first, but she understands Sophia’s priorities for the group. Plus, she also has confirmed that Sophia feels the same way for her too because why is it that when the omega goes on heat and is nesting, she asks for Manon’s clothes and wants to be covered in Manon’s scent while she quarantines during her heat? They might not have confessed to each other yet, but the telltale signs of their mutual feelings for each other are enough (for now).

The group dynamic preservation all goes to shit though the moment Yoonchae presents as an alpha because Meichae being the young maknaes they are, dO NOT give a fuck about “group dynamics”.

Like they’re craving and yearning for each other. Sophia is so worried while comforting a sad Megan because she is kept away from “her” alpha and Manon is groaning because this fucking child (Yoonchae) is challenging her to a fist fight just to see Megan and Maphinz is both like “nope no, you’re not thinking straight. get away from that fucking door.”

Yoonchae is groaning and throwing a tantrum and is shouting at Manon about how Manon doesn’t understand and Manon looks so melancholic and says she does understand. The concept of Yoonchae gagging and saying “eww thats my mom!” when she realizes Manon is yearning for Sophia is soooo funny and cute!

Manon being all like “well unfortunately for you, you’re my apprentice now so YOU have to support me”

And that quarrel ends in a deal with Manon helping Yoonchae with courting Megan and Yoonchae helping Manon court her mom.

Meanwhile lariela is sooo tired of their shit like you have a couple who is too scared and responsible to cross any lines (maphinz) and you have a couple who does not give a fuck and just wants to be with each other repercussions be damned (meichae).

Lara is laughing while cuddling with Dani because they’re all overthinking this and overcomplicating stuff why cant they just kiss and keep it lowkey like how her and Dani are being (aka lariela being lovers but no one in the group knows about it)

Manon probably makes Yoonchae Sophia's personal bodyguard, teaching her to follow her mother every where and protect her mother no matter what and any other alpha apart from her or her aunts were bad news and she should always growl at Alpha's who gave her mother inappropriate looks.

Yoonchae would come back home with Sophia immediately reporting everything that happened when they were out to Manon and probably how she'd growled at every alpha who even dared to look at Sophia and how she almost punched a guy cause he didn't get the memo that her mom was taken, and Manon would be so proud, praising her daughter for scaring almost every one who thought about approaching Sophia.

Alpha Yoonchae and omega Megan is peak , Yoonchae who's literally one of the most fierce and non challant alpha is so sweet and soft with the bubbly omega, she's practically in love with her but is terrible at expressing her feelings, her and Megan are really close, which makes her feel kinda sad cause she thinks Megan just thinks of her as a friend.

Like they've been best friends since they were kids, and Megan is practically the only person that Yoonchae actually likes. And Yoonchae finally realizes that she has the biggest crush on her best friend when they present and she's so frustrated cause she doesn't even know what to do or how to tell her.

Sophia's probably the first to notice her daughter's crush , cause Yoonchae who practically growls at other people (courtesy of her sire's teaching) is so gentle and soft with Megan, and she always notices how her daughter blushes whenever Megan hugs her or compliments her, or how happy she gets when Megan says she's coming over. She would always ask Sophia if they could get Megan's favorite snacks anytime they want grocery shopping, she has a whole pantry full of the omega's favorite snacks and she's memorized all of Megan's allergies.

Manon giving Yoonchae terrible advice , like “why don't we make her favorite food”, even tho they both don't know how to cook, and Yoonchae wants to ask Sophia for help but Manon is just like “no, this our bonding time”, they ended up messing up the recipe and almost burning down Sophia's kitchen, they were both grounded. Or Manon trying to teach Yoonchae Chinese, so she could impress Megan, but Manon knows nothing about Chinese, everything she teaches Yoonchae is so wrong.

Poor Yoonchae tried to ask Megan out in the inaccurate Chinese her sire taught her, Megan found it hilarious, Yoonchae was so embarrassed but at least Megan agreed to go out with her, and according to her, she'd been flirting with Yoonchae ever since they presented but Yoonchae's oblivious ass never seems to notice.
