Hey there! I have an idea for the alpha's ex
Omega Tamaki Amajiki is worried because his prohero alpha has to go to another country on a mission with ex, who is very confident and everything Tamaki is not, plus the ex still has feelings for Tamaki's alpha and make that very clear to Amajiki. Tamaki doesn't want his alpha to go, but they recently had a fight and, seeing that the ex is pretty chill, doesn't want to be seen as clingy or very dependent
Hey!! Thanks for sending me your idea!!
This would be so sad because the stress of the situation literally makes Tamaki ill.
He starts getting bad headaches and stomach aches.
He thinks about like, faking a pregnancy to get you to stay, then he feels so guilty for even thinking that and is disgusted by himself.
It gets to the point where, as the date for your departure gets closer and closer, he stops eating and is so stressed he can't cope.
He just makes everything so awful in his mind.
He's convinced that if he lets you go, you'll come back and break up with him to be with your ex, but that if he confronts you about it, you'll break up with him before you go because he's too clingy.
He genuinely believes he is going to lose his alpha and it sends him on a downward spiral.
He gets put on sick leave from hero work because he just can't focus.
Until eventually you find him curled up by in the bathroom in the middle of the night, having a panic attack and clutching at his stomach in pain.
And you realise this isn't a normal sickness and something is seriously wrong.
"Amajiki? Oh my god," he could distantly hear your voice cutting through the panic and he didn't know if that made it better or worse.
"I'm here baby, oh my goodness, you should have woken me up, darling, oh dear," you murmured in his ear as you moved him so he was sitting on your lap. Despite everything, your scent was a soothing balm and he automatically chased it, nuzzling his nose into your neck.
"Shh, that's it," you cooed at him, stroking his hair back from his sweaty forehead. "Is you stomach still hurting you? I think you need to go to the doctor, honey. Something isn't right."
Tamaki whined and shook his head. A doctor wouldn't solve you abandoning him for someone else.
"It's not up for debate, darling, you're sick," you said firmly, but not unkindly. "Let's talk about that tomorrow though, I'm going to carry you to your nest, hang on."
You managed to pick him up and carry him to his nest without incident, but the place that was once so comforting only reminded him that you were probably going to ask for all your clothes back and your scent would fade and there was nothing he could do about it.
"Don't leave me for him alpha! I'll do anything!" he sobbed suddenly, overcome with desire to try and get you to stay with him. "I know he's better than me, but I can be better too, I promise, I'll get better."
"Hey, what are you talking about?" you said, pulling him as close as possible. "Wait- are- are you talking about my ex? The one going on the trip with me?"
Tamaki only whimpered.
"It is isn't it?" you sounded shocked and maybe angry and Tamaki couldn't handle that. "That's why you've been sick this whole week... Amajiki..."
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I couldn't stop, I tried, but I couldn't," he sobbed. His breathing was erratic and his face was a mess at this point. Everything hurt and he was starting to feel light headed and dizzy.
"You need to talk to me about this, Amajiki," you said firmly. "You have to talk to me. I don't want you making yourself so sick trying to deal with stuff like this that can all be fixed with a conversation."
Tamaki only sobbed harder at the reprimand, but you didn't continue, only sighed and lowered your voice.
"Sorry, bunny, I didn't mean to shout, can you look at me please?" you tilted his head up so that he was looking at your face with bleary eyes. "I will never leave you for my ex, or anyone else. You are my mate, my most precious person, and I hate it so much when I have to watched you suffer like this. I'm not leaving you darling."
"Promise?" he croaked out, clutching your shirt.
"I promise. Now, try and get some rest, I'll stay right here and we can talk about our plan tomorrow when you're feeling better."
"You won't leave me?"
"No, bunny," you promised, rubbing his back. "How about you sleep on top of me, that way I won't be able to leave without waking you up."
"Okay," he mumbled, allowing you to move him into that position. "G'night alpha."
"Goodnight, my dearest omega. I'll be right here in the morning."
