it’s been almost two years and so much has happened within the course of our days. In all those times, we’ve grown more and more in love, and we’ve resolved the little differences that we had. We gave a lot up--you, the fast lane and all your ‘friends’, and I, tons of job and scholarship offers elsewhere. We’ve gone against the tide, even when the world was against us, and we learned how to swim by and pass through all our obstacles.
Do you remember the time that we got so dependent, so obsessed? We can’t even go apart after three hours, without updating each other of what we’ve been doing in life. We’ve had a pretty long honeymoon phase, before we rode off our high onto each other. Even now, sometimes, I still feel that we’re the same.
Our vacations together were the most magical to me. Venice and Phuket, and all our other brief rendezvous in other countries during your concert trips--they were twice as amazing for me, because I was with you. In the course of the years, our life events have involved each other and I will never, ever regret you. I could have chosen to go, but I stayed, because I felt and I knew that you will be the person who will make me happy, and you did. You made me so happy, Natsu.
But our obstacles are only getting more and more difficult as we continue with our careers. It’s harder these days, knowing that you’re very famous in our country. We’ve learnt how to be happy in the silence, and the little moments that there are. And that’s what I will always, always love most about us, babe--that we have already been contented with the mere fact that we have each other. Wherever you go, or whatever you do, I hope you will never forget that there is a home waiting for you--an almost-wife, and two dogs for kids. And you will always be welcome. Maybe it won’t be today, but one day, we will wake up together at 11 am, cook breakfast and feel that everything else is alright, and in place.
Thank you for having made me happy, for making me happy, and for always doing so. Never will I find another one like you, not in this lifetime--god knows how I’d rather fail with you than be with anyone else, babe. I will always wear the ring that you have given me, because no other future is there, but a future with you. And always know that while the world may not have known of our love story, our love story will always be the best that there was, between you and I.
