He turned to her as she continued, standing straight, taking a step toward him and extending her hand, now more inviting than annoyed, trying his best to not completely break down in joyful tears. She wasn't mad anymore~!

  "My name’s Aria. and you’re…?"

  "I'm...Gus." he responded, returning the handshake and feeling himself relax again. "Aria is a pretty name..." He stopped himself before he finished the thought - but, I think all elves have pretty names.

  Except for Maike. It was a short, curt name, just like the elf who owned it.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw someone else come on to the balcony, using black wings sprouting out of his back to fly up from the first floor, turning and calling back down to their partner, probably still on the main floor. He couldn't quite bring himself to green the newcomer, though Gus did admit that his overall outfit was very nice.
