Louder than Thunder (Open)
Alphonse opened his eyes slowly, the blinding light of the sun being projected into his room from the window. The walls were pretty bare, only a poster of the Detroit Red Wings 1997 team on his wall. Any other little nick-knacks were just things that had some sentimental value, such as a small picture frame with a photo of his team holding up the championship cup back when his team went to state in America. He grabbed it slowly, looking at the faces of the friends he left behind in Michigan, another picture next to it was a team picture from his hockey team in Japan.
Alphonse gave a light sigh, he had left so many friends behind both times, and both times had hurt immensely. He sat on his bed for a few minutes, putting the picture back and setting both feet on the ground, having slept with his prothetic on. He slowly shuffled into the bathroom, turning on the water and letting it run down his back, the warm water soothing his body. He let out a sigh, turning off the water once he was done, drying himself off with a towel as he went back to his room. Life at Yamaku was a bit stressful, the people not too hard to get along with but not a walk in the park either.
Alphonse put on his uniform, his mind in an already negative mode as he went out for classes, seeing he was late to his first one and just slowing down more. His hockey stick tapped in rhythm to his prosthetic, a slight beat coming from the tapping. Alphonse took another step towards the school with his right foot, something happening as pain spiked up his leg, going right to his brain as he fell to the ground, grasping at the connection point of his flesh and prosthetic, feeling some wet warmth there.
"AH!" Alphonse swore under his breath, the pain pounding in his brain as he tried to stand, falling right back down on the ground. His senses were filled with pain as he laid there, not able to move on his own.
