On day 10 and the climb up Aiguines to the Col D’illoire. 2.4k at 7.4% average with this nice hairpin. St Malo to Nice introduced climbs that you simply don’t experience in the UK. Long, steep at times, relentless and persistent. Surrounded by stunning landscapes and vistas. Certainly the climbing was one of the very big highlights on the @bike.alive tour and perversely I began to look forward to them every day.
