       to say that he regrets what they’ve done is an understatement. he’d told himself that pike was right, that the grounder army needed to be wiped out before any more of their people could die--- it was what he’d needed to think. it was his fault, wasn’t it, that gina died? and his mother. his own mother isn’t here, so he looks to monty’s, tears stinging his eyes as his lips part in an unspoken question.

       it takes him a moment to get his words out, and when he does, his voice is rough. “---mrs. green? do you think we did the right thing?”

        PAIN doesn’t even begin to describe what abby’s feeling right now. losing jake almost killed her, both figuratively and literally ( sometimes she still wonders what would have happened if callie hadn’t forced her out of her quarters ), but this...letting marcus in hadn’t been easy, and now she’s poised to LOSE him. ❝ i don’t want to talk to you, ❞ she chokes past her tears when she sees it’s hannah behind her. ❝ GET OUT hannah, now. ❞
