actually MORE post s3 purphy bc well @wetriied made me her trash forever and must deal with my trash need:

the long kisses these two share are legendary. it’s mostly because they don’t have to rush anymore, that they don’t run away anymore.

the times when chuck comes to pick up alex from the school and they start sharing their memories about how they fucking love schooling and how they are nerds who love kids.

imagine how hard it will be for both of them to forgive each themselves after the col. how many times one would wake up during nights and feel like he doesn’t deserve the other, only for the other to start whispering quiet “i love you”s and “you’re worth it”s.

that one moment when they both look at each other and see that only death can break them apart at the stage, and realize how fucking much they love each other and how #married they are.

the times when alex just opens up about everything about him for the first time, holding no reserve or not forcing himself to continue. how he truly felt that this man had the right to know him as he was, broken, shitty, used and love him anyway.

how, for the first time alex actually meant all the extent of the words when he said. “people took enough from me. my son, my wife, my father, my innocence and my stability. i’m not giving them anything more. i lost enough.”, finally letting himself cry after so much pain and just clinging to chuck like a life line. 

how they take care of each other like old people, taking care the other takes his pills, is washed and well fed. especially chuck to alex.

how much alexander james murphy loves charles pike, and how much he is loved back by him <333.

ok but dedicating ANOTHER list of headcanons to @wetriied:

 let’s just say that after s3 their relationship was pretty complicated because they couldn’t ignore each other anymore and started to see the other’s kinder part show itself. 

one time when charles had nightmares about the grounders, alex just came in and crawled next to him not saying a word. and he kept doing it till it kind of became a rule.

then they started to talk about random things like the ark or kids. 

one time it got so bad that charles had a panic attack and refused to talk about it.

it was alex getting tortured by grounders, damn it

after it they kind of distanced, but they kept sleeping together platonically like as if the whole camp didn’t know about it.

when alex confronted charles about his nightmares, telling him he had them as well, and that  the first time he came to sleep with charles he had nightmares himself. 

then they just gave it up and kissed for the first time in 30 years, 

FUCK IMAGINE THE SLOPPINESS AND THE AWKWARD TEETH AND THE NOSE BUMP LIKE WE NEED TO WRITE IT 

that’s how they restarted their relationship after so much time.

they weren’t into pda at first, being awkward with their relationship and the public. 

they kept it like that until alex wounded himself working at something and charles couldn’t keep it and he just ran to alex and kissed him  like there was no tomorrow.

let’s just say they didn’t turn their relationship sexual at first because they weren’t in the mental state to care about sex after the col thing. it was for like a month or two after they started it and it was the first time for alex when he did it just for feelings it brought with it. for the physical comfort and closeness. 

let me just say they both became so much better people after a few months

ok but these two telling each other ‘i love you’ for the first time??????it’s adorable like imagine these two in a lazy morning, and charles saying it first, and then alex glaring at him with such a loving glare and saying it back . and they keep saying it as if it isn’t real and the other may just be gone in a second. they never truly stopped.

i don’t think they’d want to be more then just boyfriends. no matter how silly it sounded, they’d be fricking 70 and be like ‘my boyfriend is better yours’. 

they still had  ptds, but they deal with their them together. they’d have panic attacks and nightmares, but they would deal with them together. 

no matter how many years pass, alex would always be the tol and charles the smol. it’s a rule.

kind of a hc dedicated to the bae @wetriied

        after a short period of time of dating charles, like 4 months or so, alex woke up with the feeling that charles became more then just a joke, taht he seriously started to care for him. that he was almost falling in love with him. and he didn’t like it. he refused to allow himself such a thing as this, this leading to alex breaking the relationship and breaking poor charles’s heart alongside his own.

      he’s never forgive himself for this, even if after it both alex and charles found their happiness and homes, alex couldn’t help himself and think once in a while what it could have been if they kept it together and had children and gotten married.
