in case you wondered how I make Beruka work for my main team. 

She’s actually since moved up in the tier list (I think she’s A now?).  I had my Beruka inherit a Hammer+ to deal with Hector and then Smite to throw Effie as far as possible. I FIGHT THE META MY OWN WAY.
