So the kind man Alron took in the young boy. He raised him alongside his daughter Aiya. Her and Skylo hit it off decently and while Skylo always carried an attitude, he was grateful to Alron and made sure not to give him a hard time. With Aiya, Skylo would spend his time with old ancient books Alron kept. They managed to learn what the old lettering said and they read the old books like fairy tales, while Alron knew what they really were. One night, years later, Alron left the children a letter. He was about to leave before Skylo stopped him. Alron told him that he couldn't explain now. That he would know in due time. Skylo held resentment but couldn't ever give a bad word towards him as he left and he agreed to tell Aiya that he didn't know what happened to her father... What really happened? That's between the two from that one night

So I figured I can give you guys a little simple set up for the story. This is Skylos childhood where he was left behind in a dangerous City known as ember. Unsure where to go he is found by a man named Alron Solrus. One of the few kind souls of Ember. He brings Skylo in and decides to raise him as his own
