ok ok this was tough but here you go:

3: What's your favorite line of narration?

ok this was pretty difficult (esp. because there are some lines I particularly love for forthcoming chapters that I’ve already written), but thus far I think it’s a tie for me between these two lines:

She trailed one finger across the lines of the broken horn helm, stopping herself as soon as the charcoal began to smudge. 

This is from Ch. 1, where Ashe is given the drawing of Sejuani. I like this line because to me it hints at Ashe’s personality, which is one where she has taught herself to be controlled and save face above all else. Her own desire comes second, and even though it pokes out every now and then (like here), she ultimately does too damn well of a job repressing it and following her heart. Always trying to be a good Queen...

The air was a cacophony of the blizzard storm, punctuated by the screams of dying men, the crunch of bone and flesh underfoot, as the Winter’s Claw crushed the garrison of Fort Frostwood beneath their fury, and the last, frantic bugle call was finally silenced.

Much like the first line of narration, I also like this one because to me, even though it is not talking about Sejuani directly, it is a reflection of her character and personality. She--and therefore her tribe and warriors--deal only in absolutes, in deeds. There is no hesitation, no pause, no stoppage. There is no room for thought for Sejuani, only for (frequently lethal) action.

4: What's your favorite line of dialogue?

ok again there is a line I already love BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT WOULD MEAN HUGE SPOILERS GAH I NEED TO WRITE MORE. anyway, this is the line I would choose otherwise:

“Change is on the wind. Motions begin to turn that have remained frozen for ten thousand years. For the first time in millennia, new alliances are being forged and broken, and for the first time since the fall of the Watchers, a true heir to Serylda has been forged from the heart and spirit of the Freljord. Rise, Sejuani.”

I like this line because this is the beginning. We know from this point onward, to use a more colloquial phrase, shit’s about to go down. This is where is starts, where we know Sejuani has now made an alliance more duplicitous than what she can even begin to realize, and that it is here multiple games come into play--yes, Sejuani’s war, but also Lissandra’s own dark machinations.

Also I decided if you want spoilers here’s my actual favorite line reserved for later in the story (see below cut):

“Oh, Sejuani...you’ve been a good tool.”

I'm sorry, I didn't see this comment earlier! That's bot hilarious and awesome xD You know what's weird is that I often have dreams where my teeth fall out so fangs can grow in. I don't know what the symbolism behind that is, but they're odd dreams xD
