✮ Settling In ✮

We return to Zehra doing laps in the pool. This is where she spends most of her time and it's very boring.

Atreo isn't much more interesting tbf. He's busy getting a headstart on his university assignments/coursework. Thankfully his many scholarships mean he has no fees to pay.

This is a relief as he had no money left after buying the lot. Zehra brought the allowed 20,000 simoleons with her when she moved in, which was enough to kit out the house... Well, almost.

After a short 'cultural' visit to the Von Haunt Estate, Zehra is feeling pretty exhilarated from all her 'art collecting'.

Zehra: "What can I say? I'm an art connoisseur."

No. No, you're not. But I was able to finish decorating the house thanks to your kleptomania.

This absolutely riveting chapter continues with Atreo having completed his first term paper. Now he will thrillingly edit it until it's of outstanding quality! This is content!

Zehra: "Wow, this is one heavy pizza. Using four whole pineapples was possibly too much..."

You freak Zehra. Pineapple on pizza. Unforgivable.

Zehra: "Mmm, it smells like Sulani... I miss Sulani."

Zehra: "Hopefully all this pineapple will settle my stomach. Who knew pregnancy would be so... squirmy."

Atreo: "OMW, OMW! It's a fox! Please be my acquaintance! I'll give you anything, I'll give you everything!"

It takes a piece of gross pineapple pizza which turns into a... Granola bar?

Zehra: "So I just threw up everywhere. All over myself. That's why I've had to change-"

Atreo: "Zehra can you not? I'm trying to eat this terrible pizza. It's so wet... seriously, is any of this cheese?"

Zehra: "Who needs cheese when you have pineapples? Also, don't watch the news."

Atreo: "...Ooookkk."

Zehra: "Ohhhh PlumbBob, that's a lot of sirens heading this way, wait... Is that an ambulance and a fire truck? Thank the Watcher, it's just a house fire 2 lots down."

Zehra: "I can't help but feel paranoid, even though that isn't one of my traits. I can't go to jail for slaying 58 vampires, right? Or stealing- I mean collecting, thousands of simoleons worth of artwork..."

Atreo: "Well, that was a productive 7 hours of work. I managed to complete all of my assignments and edit and submit my term paper, all before my first class. I can't remember ever feeling this tired before."

Oh, Atreo just you wait for your (hopefully) multiple babies to arrive...

Zehra: "Lying here watching you fall asleep brings back so many memories. But cuddling like this is way better than hiding in the shadows of your room."

Atreo: "You're being creepy again."

Zehra: "You love it though!"

Atreo: "No, I do not. Sleep now please."

Atreo confidently heads off to his first day of university class, very well prepared. All that debating himself in the mirror really paid off.

Meanwhile, Zehra has made an appointment for an ultrasound scan and told the obstetrician that she wants a natural birth. Brave. She did also try to bribe/threaten them into saying she is having at least twins. They hung up.

Zehra: "Please, please, please be more than one baby! I feel like I'm losing Atreo already. He's never once said that he loves me..."

*phone rings*

Hatice: "Hey honey it's Mom!"

Zehra: "Oh, hey! What a timely distraction from my anxiety!"

Hatice: "When are you going to come visit? I put all my love and effort into raising you. You can at least drop by once in a while and tell your dear Mommy you love her, can't you?"

Zehra: "Well, I haven't seen you since I was a teenager, so I suppose I should. I'll visit you tomorrow."

Hatice: "Okay then, I hope we see you though!"

Atreo: "I think I did well in class today, but that's not a surprise considering I already did all my assignments and my essay way in advance. I'm certain I'll keep this up once I'm a dad, like, how hard can parenthood be?"

Zehra: "You're home, my love! My mom invited me over, or rather guilt-tripped me into visiting tomorrow. Do you want to come too? It's the weekend, so you don't have classes."

Atreo: "Yeah, sure, why not. Does she know she's going to be a grandparent yet?"

Zehra: "No, and I don't think she'll take it very well. My dad certainly won't. They said that having us triplets devastated them and ruined their lives, making them empty husks of broken hopes and wasted potential. Ugh, sorry, childhood trauma."

Atreo: "Oh, Zehra, and you're willing to take that risk for me and my bizarrely specific dreams. It makes me feel... So close to you."

Atreo: "I love you Zehra."

Zehra: "I love you too! I love you so much! Oh my Watcher, what a relief. I was just about to get super intense and scared about you not loving me."

Atreo: "That's ridiculous. Why would you ever think that I don't?"

Zehra: "I guess it was your whole attitude towards me and everything you've ever said to me, before 2 days ago..."

Atreo: "Ah, no! That makes me feel really guilty. Time to distract you with kisses!"

*making out ensues*

And those kisses soon become so distracting that I need to cut away, before this becomes potentially too mature again...

After some extremely wicked and detailed animations, Zehra understandably passes out in the pool. Atreo, on the other hand, uses the remainder of his energy bar to start his Animal Behaviour presentation.

Atreo: "-and this research will show why we should not rely on mice and instead use foxes to determine everything... You know, for psychology!"
