Summary:
Scott Goldsmith has supposedly moved on from Oakhurst. It’s been two hundred years after all, and in the wake of a horrible mistake he made six years ago, he swore to never return. So why is it, that the second he gets a letter from Cleo begging him for help, he finds himself on the first possible train heading back to this wretched town? Now, he has found himself back where it all started, surrounded by new faces and old friends, and something feels off. His worst fears come true when the cycle finds itself repeating, and fragments of his past return to haunt him and the ones he has grown to care about. Dark secrets are brought to light, new threats discovered and Scott and the others soon realise that some things, including this town, might’ve been better left buried…
