MIHARU WANTING TO PROTECT PIKACHU FROM ASH, MIHARU WANTING TO GROWL AT ASH FOR LEAVING PIKACHU BEHIND, BECAUSE ASH HURT PIKACHU SO BADLY, AND HE WAS JUST STARTING TO HEAL FROM IT. 

MIHARU REALISING THAT SHE DOESN'T REALLY HAVE A SAY IN THIS, DOESN'T WANT TO FORCE PIKACHU INTO A SITUATION HE DOESN'T WANT, STEPPING BACK WITHOUT HAVING PIKACHU TO ASK HER TO.

GETTING SAD BECAUSE SHE THINKS (knows?) THAT PIKACHU, THE LOVEABLE POKEMON THAT SHE HAD GOTTEN SO CLOSE TO, IS PROBABLY GOING TO LEAVE HER BUT ACCEPTING THAT BECAUSE IT WOULD MAKE PIKACHU HAPPY.
