A job interview is a strain/ on your heart & your soul & your brain/ But as someone “cuddly”/ my main concern should be/ can I fit in my suit once again?
How awful, a badly timed cough/Caused a problem I hadn’t thought of/I have made a bald chasm/In my ‘tache with the spasm/I’ve had to shave the whole bloody thing off
I try hard not to be too complicit/
in capitalism's morality pit/
but Christmas is built/
around ignoring my guilt/
‘cos ethical goods tend to be shit
Normal service can now be resumed/
Now the Doctor Who special’s consumed/
But I give fair notice/
I’ll be in a right tizz/
when Peter Capaldi is finally costumed
So now we’re at the fiftieth/
Thanks to Ecclestone, Tennant and Smith/
The revival does prove/
It matters not who is who/
Wonder what Capaldi will bring to the mix?
I really liked doctors six, seven and eight/
Baker, McCoy & McGann all in their way great/
But Grade showed it the door/
the US revival was poor/
So we were left to our sad who-less fate
Peter Davidson was next, Doctor five/
Youthful, brave, dashing and vibrantly alive/
But as well as his pluck, he/
had the good luck to be/
the last classic Doc that the Beeb let thrive
