Right??? I get dysphoric when I have my hair down cuz it’s not true to my character, and if I’m not wearing character coded shirts or colour combos I genuinely do not feel like myself
Still at the cleaning part, I’m very lucky my stepdad and mom are doing most of it for me cuz they’re kinda freaking out about me moving (the empty nest syndrome is kicking their asses I think), today while I went to therapy my mom stayed at my place to clean all the cabinets and tomorrow shes planning on cleaning the fridge. My stepdad already re-did all the caulking in the bathroom and kitchen, so once the rest of the place is cleaned up I’ll finally get to bring my furniture over and start to set it all up (I’m excited for that part, I don’t excel at cleaning cuz of my OCD tendencies but when it comes to decorating and just setting furniture up I am locked in)
It’s a small space so I’m kinda nervous, I think I’ll have some sacrifices to make, idk if I’ll be able to bring all my comic books and my life size batman, plus maybe a desk I’ll have to leave behind. The problem is I want some space to dance and stretch so like I definitely cannot bring all my stuff over (good therapy exercise tho cuz I tend to hoard things)
Also! Been looking into TVs, I wanted an old TV (the big ones we had growing up) but they don’t have HDMI cables so I might not be able to plug in my DVD and VHS thingies in, so I might have to get a ‘smart’ tv or whatever’s on the market so I’m sad cuz I’ll have to sacrifice the retro aesthetic which SUCKS but alas. I need a good TV anyways cuz I need to be able to watch my fave movies and be immersed so yeah idk. Wish they made old tvs with the quality of modern tvs
