Normal precures and pre-Fae precures are very different in several ways, such as facial markings remaining in their human forms.

as well as their ears in their human forms are MUCH longer, it is the easy way to identify them (Humanoids-Fae also have this characteristic, so people like Makoto and Regina also have longer ears) although the difference between the Fae Precure having a more uncanny valley face, with bigger eyes and some details that are simply uncomfortable to see for any normal person.

and last but not least, while human-precure get fangs and crazy instincts to use them, fae-precure don't have fangs, just normal human teeth and don't get any new instincts, a bit of 'they're so used to instincts that they don't pay attention to them' and find human-precure weird for having the instincts (kuromi thinks a lot about her team-)
