I love softer Sun where he’s a nice and grounding person that’ll help you when you’re stressed. Give you a good pep talk or make you laugh when you’re down. And just him overall being a super bubbly and sweet (but naive) person.
But I LOVE the sassier Sun. Nice and bubbly with the kids to keep them engaged and encouraged. But with adults he’s down right condescending and blunt, keeping his sweet tone as he calls you what you are and doesn’t trust anybody at first sight. I saw a video yesterday and I’ll tag the creator if I can find it again- but Sun ended up calling the MC in it a “Minimum Wage Loser” and I CACKLED. I think it’s so much more interesting with him being that way, and it’s closer to canon aswell.
I wanna make my Sun that way, and slowly as it develops he shows his more “human” side as we say. Being less patronizing and more genuine. Realizing he doesn’t have to keep those walls up to protect himself and that maybe, just maybe he can make an actual human friend.
Neither him nor Moon are trusting MC at first, having learned their lesson with other human and even other animatronics, to keep their distance. I wanna portray that in like- the most semi realistic way I can while keeping it softer. I started writing this fic so I could have a slice of life non-heavy fic, more fluffy and sweet.
I love the mafia AUs and the grungy more canon typical violence ones but I need a lighter reading sometimes and I think some other people do too.
TLDR: I’m making my Sun as sassy as I can before he becomes Mr. Nice guy.
