it is FANTASTIC!!!!!! they took a character who is more an archtype now than anything and breathed so much life into him, and they didn't flatten watson's character to do so but instead made her a three dimension human being, with her own strengths and flaws. the partnership of all time. i maintain that the first season is the pinnacle of a modern sherlock holmes story
