Every time i read a fic and they use American English for a British setting it takes me out.
#not in a rude way because they're often really good#and you know they're just doing it for fun#but the little things like calling paracetamol tylonal really annoys me#it's not#also calling primary elementary#or secondary high school#but that last one isn't too bad as I know some Brits call it high school#ao3#this isn't hate!!
