Amusing thought: Ace gets reborn again after this life. Pro; Nyx comes with this time (anyone else too?) Con: it's post TPM era. Both a pro/con: at least Ace doesn't have to scour a whole galaxy to find Nyx bc they're both scooped up during temple searches. Now all Ace has to do is recall enough stuff about SW to survive everything! At least he didn't forget who the big irredeemable baddie was! (Do you make them human or something else? What kind of Jedi do they become? Who teaches them?)

But I’m thinking that Nyx gets found before Ace and SO! When Ace is being shown around by Mace (who wants to keep an eye on this youngling because how DID THIS KID TRY TO MIND TRICK HIM WHEN THEY MET) he stops and Mace turns to asks what’s wrong and Ace just looks at him.

“I left my husband,” Ace informs him because he can feel Nyx in the air around them, Ace can feel the lightning and rain that make up Nyx’s essence, can feel the light raidating off Nyx in a way that Calls to Ace and takes off running to idk, the communal Jedi dining room and Mace sighs and takes off after him.

Ace barges into the room, still wearing the clothes he was Jedi-napped in, and scans the room until his eyes land upon Nyx at which point Ace just launches himself at his husband? Former husband? Fuck they are getting married again as soon as it’s LEGAL-

“Ace-“ Nyx wheezes, “You are squishing me.”

“Like you’re not holding onto me just as tightly,” Ace retorts but lets go at the same time Nyx releases him.

A cough comes from behind them.

Plo raised a nonexistent eyebrow.

“I take it you two know each other.”

Nyx entwines his hand with Ace’s.

“Ace is my husband,” Nyx informs Plo.
