Grace shouts with fury after missing all her shots in a 1v1. Her character splayed out on the floor. Grace comes to her senses realizing she had just shouted while you and Emily were trying to sleep. She slaps a hand over her mouth and looks over her shoulder at the door behind her.
Footsteps quickly approaching have her scrambling for her mouse and quickly leaving the match. The footsteps stop right behind her, and there you are, shirt loosely hanging and your eyes puffy. Although you looked very cute, you were a very scary mf when your sleep was interrupted.
“Grace, it is three in the FUCKIN’ MORNIN-“ Grace only stares, her eyes wide, not knowing what to say, too afraid to say anything.
“GET your ass to bed, Grace Ashcroft.” You point your finger towards the bedroom.
“But I-“ Grace starts.
“NEOW!” You interrupt, your eyes widening threateningly. Grace quickly powers off her pc and scurries past you, towards the bedroom. “Yes, ma’am, right away, ma’am!”
Out of all the amazing lore we have gotten these past days, getting more information about “the eye” is definitely one of my highlights! ESPECIALLY since I hadn’t seen it coming now!
Sombra has been one of my favorite characters since her first cinematic! And this eye that we all speculated might be a God-program seemed as far away as Sombra’s secret identity! Then Zarya got her comic, learned Sombras real name, and I was thrilled that we were getting more of the story!
And now we have Emre! Emre who is controlled by the very same entity who Sombra is hiding from/trying to find! I am screaming!
”I’ll find out who really runs the world” – she says! This thing is running the world according to Sombra! How long? Emre’s ultimate voice line is in Finnish, suggesting that whatever it is speak Finnish.
With the theory of it being a God-program, people are now speculating if it could be Chernobog! (Placed in Helsinki, Finland)
I know some don’t think this is the case. Chernobog predicted it was going to be shut down and printed hundreds of pages of instructions to help humanity maintain security after it was gone. It’s last words before being disconnected being “"i understand. i'm sorry."”
HOWEVER
Can we trust it? Whatever Sombra has been looking for has been there for quite some time. What if it was never truly disconnected? It printed out hundreds of pages of instructions. Did humanity follow those? Did it somehow trick the humans into securing it somewhere hidden in code?
It knew it was being shut down, it had time to plan!
Most importantly! Chernobog was in charge of global security. The last thing we know about what happened to Emre is that he was offered a position consulting on Global Security!
And now he is doing missions for Talon close to where the Global Security was monitored… where he had also been while he was part of Overwatch! He has knowledge that this thing can use, and it’s goal seem very connected with Global Security!
Everything points to Chernobog! But if it is Chernobog, then what does it want? We know Anubis tried to kill humanity in an effort to conserve the Earth. But that is not Chernobog’s goal. It’s Global Security. Does it need to get rid of humans for that? Or do we already know what it wants? Full control of everything? Is it truly running the world from the shadows? Or is that just phase 1 for a bigger plan?

D.VA:
- Reads all her fanmail when she's sad, stressed, or bored to help her keep going. She also keeps all the gifts she can and has multiple shelves filled with them along with a few walls of artwork and posters given to her.
- Got banned from streaming services due to streaming her and the rest of MEKA fighting the Gwishin and other things. Still has a YouTube account where she plays other games and was forced to take down the Gwishin fighting streams/videos. Also takes no donations or money from streams.
Doomfist:
- Speaks multiple languages, scaring Sombra when he replied in Spanish to her snarky comment about one of his plans.
- Oldest of five but sadly lost two of his siblings in the Omnic Crisis, leaving only his sister and brother. He checks in on them monthly to make sure they're okay and healthy.
Junker Queen:
- Her remaining siblings live comfortably in Junkertown near her, and she frequently goes to check up on them to make sure they have what they need.
- Visits her familes graves every few weeks or so to vent out her frustrations or just to talk.
- Named her knife Gracie after her mother who passed in the Wasteland.
Mauga:
- Was a mama's boy until she passed during the Omnic Crisis and became very depressed after her passing, leading to him joining his father's eco-rebel group and we know what happens next.
- Bap was the first person he ever truly loved romantically and let himself be vulnerable around. Still cares for him despite what he did in "What We Left Behind".
- Surprisingly a very good dancer, no one but Bap and his family know this.
Orisa:
- Has small flashes of memories when she was once an OR-15 unit but they never last long. Efi has tried to remove them but it never works.
- She and Efi go around feeding the stray dogs and cats to the point the animals will follow her around the city and even back to Efi's home. They have a lot of pets now.
Ramattra:
- Loves star gazing even after separating from the monastery and Zenyatta. Can name a few constellations and even sometimes reads about them in his free time.
- Saw Mondatta as an older brother and saw Zenyatta as a younger brother.
- Awakened during the middle of a fight when one of his Omnic Ravager buddies (idk what else to call it-) died in his arms. (kinda like a Finn from Starwars thing)
Reinhardt:
- Texted and called Ana daily after she "died", leaving her messages and voice mails about his day to him, pleading for her to come back. Cried when she did come back and didn't stop for a half hour.
- Doesn't mean to be mean or racist towards Omnic's but he can't help but feel hate and disdain for them, after all they did kill his friends and comrades. He's trying to be more open minded and forces himself to hang out with Bastion, but only when Torb is there.
- Sent messages to Pharah to check up on her in Ana's place during her absence.
- Protective around Brigette despite knowing she can kick ass herself. Any boyfriend/girlfriend/partner must go by him first.
Roadhog:
- Despite his annoyance towards Junkrat, he does somewhat care for him. He wouldn't take a bullet for him, but he would patch him up and sorta protect him.
- Feels guilty because it's his fault that the outback is an irradiated wasteland.
- Always loved pigs when he was little and dressed up as one every Halloween. He also had a daughter that passed due to the Omnic Crisis (that one comic we all know it)
Sigma:
- Watched every eclipse when he was younger and still does now. Has like 80 packs of eclipse glasses in case anyone wants to watch with him.
- Will infodump to anyone who is willing to listen to him about anything and will listen to them as well.
- He knows deep down what Talon is doing to him but figures his research is more important than his own mental health at this point. He knows he's far too gone for help.
Winston:
- Heavily regrets leaving Hammond and has tried looking for him everywhere he could.
- He doesn't sleep well, remembering how the rest of the monkeys on the Lunar Colony murdered all the scientists and even sometimes wakes up to their screams. Athena plays music for him when he's restless or is trying to sleep.
Wreaking Ball:
- Swears like a sailor, almost even worse than one. His ball doesn't translate it though.
- Only JQ and a random person who saw him out of the mech knows about him being a hamster but no one else believes the random drunk saying that he saw a giant rat running around stealing parts from people and food.
- Has killed people before. ("oh how'd you die?" "hampter")
Zarya:
- Feels bad for Mei and supports her when she can, even if it's just to listen to her vent.
- Hates being flirted with.
- Was into 80s rock when she was younger and still listens to it sometimes when working out.
- D.VA helped her set up a YouTube channel where she teaches workout routines. They collaborated a few times along with Bap and Mei.
Damage:
Ashe:
- Misses her parents sometimes but finds comfort in her gang and BOB.
- Would genuinely be so upset and depressed if BOB died. She would try to get someone to make another one or upload his memory into another Omnic no matter the cost or what she would need to do.
- Had a girlfriend before Cassidy but they had to break it off due to Ashe's parents, she still wonders about her and if she's doing alright.
Bastion:
- Would shut down if Ganymede died, sitting in idle until someone shut it off or reprogramed it to forget the bird.
- It would rather rot and rust away in the forest than spend more time with humanity, finding nature more peaceful and less judgmental than humans.
- Listens to Brigitte talk about her newest projects or current fixations.
Cassidy:
- Said yeehaw way too much when working with Overwatch in his younger years and now cringes every time someone says it to mess with him.
- Is really good with all kinds of animals but has never been on a horse before and desperately wants to ride one.
- Remembers everyone's birthdays but is a horrible gift giver, usually gives them a gift card for something.
Echo:
- She knows deep down that Dr. Liao was using her to try to recreate Aurora, but she wants to believe she wasn't.
- Very good chef. Sometimes she cooks for herself and stares at the food, wondering if Dr. Liao would like it. She does find happiness in others enjoying her food though.
Genji:
- He still plays video games from time to time but only simulation games like Stardew Valley or the Sims. He tried PVP but didn't like it. Also goes to the arcade with D.VA every few weeks.
- Can only drink Mercy's style of coffee now after spending so much time with her late at night talking and drinking coffee to stay up while she works on something. Other coffee doesn't work on him now.
Hanzo:
- He has frequent nightmares about killing his brother, waking up and expecting to see blood on his hands sometimes. He sometimes even hears the screams.
- He's in denial for years but soon makes peace with the fact Genji is alive. They have a long talk about everything and life and Hanzo has the strength to forgive himself after also talking with Zenyatta.
Junkrat:
- He's surprisingly smart when it comes to making things, being able to dismantle stuff and put it back together easily. He got in trouble multiple times for this in Junkertown when people thought he was trying to break or steal their stuff.
- Never had a father figure in his life (a good one anyways), and only had a mom. He doesn't remember her very well due to losing her at a young age but remembers her singing and hugging him when he felt sad as a kid.
- Lost his arm in an explosion (Roadhog's fault). Broke his leg and let it rot away until someone was forced to cut it off. Made his own prosthetics.
Mei:
- Insomniac. Also afraid of falling asleep (somniphobia), thinking that she'll wake up and see her friends dead again.
- Slight claustrophobia depending on her mood and the situation.
- Mostly stays up with Mercy or Genji, in the gym with Zarya or by herself. Plays video games with D.VA sometimes, she really likes coop cooking games.
- Vents/rants/talks to Snowball when she can't/doesn't want to sleep.
Pharah:
- Was lowkey forced to grow up quickly after Ana "died". Pushed everyone away from her and focused on training. She did learn to relax after growing out of that phase after she was contacted by Cassidy.
- She was more pissed off than happy when Ana revealed she was alive, wondering why she didn't at least tell her child that she was alive so Pharah didn't spend those nights crying.
- Sam is her father but they have a strained relationship after Ana.
Reaper:
- Sometimes talks to his son at the playground or after school under the impression that he's a ghost looking out for him. Stopped when his son grew old enough and when Martina found someone else. He wasn't mad when she did, almost finding peace that his family had moved on and was happy now.
- Very weary of Moira and barely lets her near him. He's not afraid but wouldn't hesitate killing her and ruining Doomfist's plan.
- No Sabo kid but took Spanish throughout High School and even made it to honors.
Sojourn:
- (All her headcanons I had were actually canon cuz I looked at the wiki damn poor girl)
- Her niece named Murphy.
- Always has to tell people that she's 51 (fifty-one) because she looks a lot younger due to her augmentations.
Soldier 76:
- Checked in on Vincent once and was almost happy when he moved on with someone else. He still gets emails from him, telling him about his day and wishing him well. To Vincent, it's like a diary but he has no idea Jack is still reading them.
- Hates his middle name (Francis).
- Frequently went over to Gabriel's (Reaper's) house with Vincent and they all had a family dinner together.
- He was going to be Gabriel's son's godfather but he refused.
Sombra:
- Calls Doomfist "Doomfish" after a typo someone made in a group chat, but only in chats he's not in. Also has him as "Doomfish" in her phone.
- Has a teddy bear and sugar skull collection.
- She's in contact with Baptiste and talks to him weekly, mostly just to tell him where Mauga is looking for him next, while he sends her new sugar skull things to buy/steal.
- Scared of Moira and what she's capable of, even going so far as to hide Sigma when they want to experiment on him.
Symmetra:
- Lifeweaver was one of her close friends because he understood that she was autistic and didn't know how to express herself properly. She was grateful that he always took the long way with her instead of the train and was patient when she couldn't describe how she felt.
- Dances to relieve stress. Tried to teach Lifeweaver but he was too clumsy.
- Her and Zenyatta keep in contact via letters.
Torbjörn:
- Rein and him talk daily about anything and everything, mostly about Brigette, inventions, or inside jokes.
- Cares for Bastion and makes sure that it's always well taken care of. Despite this, he's still slightly scared of it and isn't afraid to dismantle it if needed.
- Always makes sure to call every one of his kids monthly depending on what's going on. The family group chat goes crazy around the Holidays.
Tracer:
- Emily proposes to her, but Lena also has a ring so they both propose to each other.
- She still has all of her punk clothing when she was a teen and dresses up from time to time with Emily when they're going to concerts with Iggy.
- Races Genji for fun sometimes when the two of them are bored.
- Has slight tinnitus due to all the concerts she went to.
- Takes medication for ADHD
Venture:
- Has had trans surgery. Which one? Yes.
- They're a fan of anime, their favorite being JJBA (specifically part two).
- Ate rocks, dirt, plants, and almost everything as a kid. Was in the hospital a few times because of it. Their stomach is also a little messed up.
- Always knew that they were Non-Binary since middle school and came out to their parents during their last year there.
- Had multiple different names for a while until they landed on Sloan.
Widowmaker:
- She is still Amélie deep down but is too scared of what Moira and the others will do if they find out. Only Sombra knows.
- Still practices ballet in her free time and when she's alone, finding comfort in it.
- Has dreams about her husband sometimes, either sitting next to her talking or staring down at him bloodied.
Support:
Ana:
- She would have killed Widowmaker but hesitated after seeing it was Amélie. She knows not to make that mistake anymore.
- Sometimes cries knowing that she failed as a mother and partner to Sam.
- She and Sam (Pharah's father) never married, only dated until Ana's "death". They were together for about fifteen years.
- Read every single one of Rein's messages and listened to all of his voicemails, feeling guilty for not being able to reply to them, but found the comfort and strength to keep going through them.
Baptiste:
- Missed Mauga, but after talking about it with friends, realized he was a bad influence and forced those feelings down.
- Regularly talks with Mercy, giving each other tips on medical stuff or just listening to the other rant about patients or work.
- Still in contact with some of his cousins.
- DRYEST texter you will ever meet.
Brigette:
- Her cat is basically the therapy cat around the base, everyone loves her.
- Wants to be a writer on the side but would never show anyone it. Poetry is like her diary, putting down her thoughts and feelings into words. Some of them are more... idk how to say this- sexual than others? Not really but it's there because she's still figuring out herself.
- Watches meka anime with D.VA sometimes.
Illari:
- Every night she dreams about what happened and wakes up crying or screaming.
- Chuno was given to her as a baby by her family when she got accepted into the Inti Warriors.
- She has a lovely singing voice, but keeps it to herself. She only sings by herself, with Chuno, or someone she's very comfortable singing with.
Juno:
- Very jumpy, cannot play horror games or watch horror movies. She will watch/play them with friends, but she'll be hiding behind a plushy or pillow half the time.
- Juno sometimes wakes up thinking she's on Mars again and gets sad when she isn't.
- Deep down, she's always stressed about the fate of her family, knowing that every life on Mars rests in her hands.
Kiriko:
- She's actually over 25 (twenty-five) but lies about her age on everything to make people underestimate her. (also so the lore makes sense cuz no way a 5 year old was training with a 20 year old in the same class)
- Her "powers" are actually illusions from advanced technology.
- She's physically weak but very agile, letting her get away easier if she knows she's in a fight she can't win.
Lifeweaver:
- He knew he liked everyone before he even knew what Pansexual was.
- Despite not wanting their help, he still spills tea with his parents when they contact him. They know all the drama about almost everyone.
- Would genuinely kill in a drag race. Knows makeup better than most people on base.
Lucio:
- He has tinnitus but keeps it to himself. He goes to the doctor for it because it's very annoying, and he feels hypocritical about getting it while also warning people about it.
- Watches a lot of D.Va's streams. She calls him out in chat to mess with him, and he gets embarrassed.
- Loves all animals and donates to a bunch of shelters/rescues when he can.
Mercy:
- She hates seeing people die, even in movies. Always cries a little afterward when she can't save a patient.
- After her parents passed and she joined Overwatch, she was practically raised by Torb's family. Thanks to this, she's also somewhat fluent in Swedish, among multiple others, for fun.
- Genji was one of the first people she truly opened up to, talking to him when he was part of Blackwatch when he needed help with repairs. She hoped it would help him see past his revenge, and it slowly did.
Moira:
- She knows she's mentally ill, but thinks of it as an enhancement to her cause.
- Barely feels anything toward living beings, thinking them all to be test subjects for her experiments, even herself. This also causes her to experiment on herself despite the risks and dangers.
- Thought highly of Mercy and her brilliant mind before realizing that Mercy was too peaceful and naive to Moira's greater plan.
- Despite everything, she has the best nails in Talon, but would rather kill you than tell you how.
Zenyatta:
- Frequently tried to reach out to Ramattra to try to amend things to bring him back. Gave up after seeing the damage and pain Ramattra caused other Omnic's.
- Saw Ramattra and Mondatta like older brothers when he first joined the monastery.
- He forgot what he did before his Awakening, but he hated it. It had something to do with the ocean.

You know I'm really skeptical about this whole update thing. And this is coming from a person that literally screamed and rolled around on the ground like a child when I saw the video.
Cuz honestly I feel like ive had such I hopes for this gave and have been let down time and time again. And part of it is just because literally more than half of public lobby players die on floor 1 or just leave!
I really am excited, but like... This game is literally my literal life support right now and every time im disappointed it liberally feels world ending. (I know that's dramatic. Im a dramatic person.)
I really am hoping Vee's golden skin is FIRE! Like ahhhh!
for sure, i always try to keep my expectations fairly low haha! but i am also very excited just at the idea of getting new lore and character interaction since that's what I MOSTLY CARE ABOUT, i know a lot of people are more worried about the game play right now but i mean, the problem with people leaving and dying so fast is kinda just baked into it being a roblox game and mostly played by children, children who haven't played many other games before so their going to be slow to learn and also probably need to leave at any moment to go do a chore for their parents or homework or whatever so they probably need to dip at any point! and i really don't think there's anything they can do about that sadly, i just try to stick with my friend group i play with and avoid playing with strangers all together! it's much more fun that way anywho
but even if im trying to stop myself from getting TOO HYPED OR ANYTHING i do think the future is bright im willing to give the dev team plenty of time to work out what they need with the game and i think they are moving things along pretty fast all things considered! but i am an overwatch fan and pretty much everything looks like its moving faster than overwatch so my standards are pretty low LMAO
"Shion's design is cool design and has interesting lore implications" and "blizzard doesn't give female characters unconventional designs" are both statements that can be true at the same time.

For comedy reasons I think Robin and Nolan and Mark's daughter should also be an isakai protagonist but she's from a world where the invincible comics were made into a game like marvel rivals or overwatch. She was a professional esports streamer so when she wakes up in invincible as a baby she immediately starts trying to grind. Girl is desperately trying to min max before she can even walk. She never read the tie in comics so she doesn't know shit about the lore or plot but she does know every characters fighting style and the best possible counters better than anyone in the universe. Now the question is who's the funniest character for her to main. I'm gonna say she was an Allen main who loved tech jacket because of how well they could work together in tournaments. Baby is training from day one. Unfortunately she is literally physically a baby so she can't actually do much but that will not stop her from squaring up and trying to fight conquest when he arrives. Oliver is spared from almost getting pulled apart because he spends the whole fight desperately dragging her away before she gets herself killed. She's fully convinced that she could win using her new powers and perfect gaming strategy, after all her greatest rival back home was a conquest main so she knows all his moves. She declares herself conquest's rival and vows to defeat him to regain her (gamers) honor even as Oliver drags her away. I think she'd somehow still end up a gaming streamer again in this new life once she realizes it's an option. Hero work is not her thing, chugging medically dangerous amounts of sponsored energy drinks on stream while pulling off batshit strategies is her true calling. She does totally love her family of course so she'll jump into battle with them whenever they need her. Somehow it never occurs to her that her parents are the strongest people in the universe so they can handle themselves lol.
Also a very funny possibility because Robin would clock exactly what kind of webtoon protagonist her kid is
(how did a second isekai happen when it shouldn't? idk robin's domain's powers fritzed out major-league and snagged someone/created them wholecloth from her own scattered memories of these types of stories. whoops)
Mark's confusion because he's a basic gamer but full throttle streaming culture is beyond him, and Robin is just "relax, we'll support her dreams and that's enough" but keeping an eye out for being X shenanigans or mentions of damn shadow monarchs in realms they shouldn't be in.

Stream further confused by who "not-dad" is because there's 'brother who's dad' and 'brother uncle' and 'granddad dad' and the overall intrigue over wtf does streamer's mom have going on.
Overall very lucky that her (three) parents are insanely strong and Robin has at least some parts of the power spectrum firing up as the danger levels ramp up.
Alright so, I've had a chance to look at the road map, specifically the character silhouettes and the hints their giving and here are my theories:
Since this character has a drone and is pictured with what I'm pretty sure is route 66 in the banner. I'm going to say that this is likely Frankie. The main argument against this is the braid since Frankie had a different description to Deadlock Rebels, but that can easily be explained away with the braid either actually being tech or it just being that she was 18 in Deadlock Rebels and wasn't bound to looking recognisable like Ashe and Cassidy were.
Also, with Doomfist out of the picture lore wise and with the next two characters. We are definitely going to need more black representation in this game cause oh boy is the dev team not beating some allegations with the next two.
That and if this is also the plot point where we focus on Deadlock working with Talon then Frankie is the perfect character to introduce. Especially since it would provide some insight to how other members of the gang see Ashe and Cassidy.
This is likely another Yokai member, since the map in the banner above them is the same Japan map that is coming out in the same season. My guess is that this is Ryōta due to the horns? At least I'm assuming that Ryōta is the one wearing the horns.
Again we're likely going to get a focus on the Hashimoto and likely the recruitment of Hanzo, Kiriko, Mizuki and the other Yokai. Which in turn likely means we will get all the Yokai in the game at some point. Along with the furthering of Mizuki's spy plot.
Anyway, this character will likely be a Damage hero and I'm more on the side of each faction in Overwatch having one of each role.
Ok so while I'm not 100% convinced this is D.Mon since again, we have not gotten any information on if they have figured out how to do the Mech mechanic in game again that doesn't just break it. However, I'd be a fool if I didn't admit that it's highly likely since not only is the silhouette the same, but D.Va is in the banner.
So why is Junker Queen in the banner with D.Va?
First is that we're likely going to get the Junkers storyline in Season 4 but I would like present my theory. What of D.Mon is originally from Australia?
There is a tendency with Korean idol groups to have members that are originally from Australia so I think it would make sense for them to reference that here. Not only that but it would be cool to see a character that was originally from Australia that isn't a Junker.
Listen I'm desperate for that at this point so while I would have preferred the first non-Junker Aussie character to be Aboriginal. I'll take what I can get.
