silly lil body sharing au designs (ill have more doodles later cause i like this idea)

vaguely based on the concept of these drawings and this fic :D

it probably doesn't make sense for them to have two different outfits and styles but ed felt bad and it makes it easier for team mustang to tell them apart

typed version of my shit handwriting under the cut + additional rambles

notes for Ed: bites, shorter bangs cause Al cut them, [blood seal] on heart

notes for Al: shoves hair to the side (hates the middle part), bun, polite young man, doesn't usually mind people seeing automail, [back of his vest thingy with flamel on it]

notes for both: same ribbon, wears watch different, refuses to wear same pants, seems insane to anyone that doesn't know

other lil things about my intepretation of this au:

Al fucking hates Ed's hair, it's long and looks dumb (to him) and he's constantly trying to make it look nice, if he needs control for more than like 10 minutes he will twirl Ed's braid into a bun so it stops bothering him

Ed is constantly mumbling to Al in order to make sure he feels included and a part of things because he feels really terrible about him losing his body

idk how the series with this au in mind i only have random shit at the moment

initially mustang didn't tell the rest of his team (aside from hawkeye) and they were bewildered when this kid would go from angry, grumpy and snarky to sweet, smiling and sometimes also sarcastic in an instant

winry is the only one who can always instantly know who she's talking to

if for some reason they need to swap midway through something, Ed will make sure their hair isn't in a bun (either loose or braided) and Al will usually take off Ed's coat and put his hair in a bun (as mentioned above)

the body sharing thing works the same way greeling does i think, like they're both there and aware but ones in control of the body

i'll have more stuff about this soon probably cause i like this au and now i have silly designs for it so yay!!! thank you for listening to me ramble :3

FMA HighSchool

I wanted to do a modern highschool of them some time ago

Ed also has an automail leg because of an accident at 11, to keep his canon a bit faithful and give some background and realism.

In that future time, the automail should be amazing. 🦿✨

And yes, I prefer AlxWinry, not only because Ed is for my OC and my personal husbando 🤣 but also because I think she make a better couple with Al than with Ed, who is always arguing. Al listens to her and calms her down in contrast, and the poor guy ends up with a beautiful girl and doesn't come in second 😅

It would have been beautiful to see Winry fall in love with Al's pure soul regardless of the body, and for Ed to have a girl who... relaxed him and connected with him better... gave him a choice beetween girls... shonen romances always leave a lot to be desired... 😅

(but I'm not against EdWin either, it's just a preference) 😉
