The shortest month of the year has come to an end, so today I'm asking about short-lived adventures (spreading my "if it sucks, hit the bricks" propaganda). What was the hobby you picked up and then dropped the fastest? The new years resolution (if you had them)? The book/show? And why?
I am, I fear to say, an extremely stubborn individual. Which means it doesn't matter if I suck ass I will keep trying for an inordinate amount of time to do things and I will finish a show even if I hate it.
I think the shortest lived hobby was ballet when I was a kid 🤣 exclusively bc my parents work schedule made it basically impossible for them to pick me up on time for it. I would either go to classes sparingly or stay there till the school closed down.
The one I picked up on my own volition that lasted the shortest amount of time was learning German and that was still a good 6 months of my life. That made me hate German with incredible passion.
