Are you OK with tagging wank posts? I like reading positive Shiro posts but too much unfiltered negativity about how he was handled just depresses me.

I completely understand.  What happened to Shiro was pretty depressing.  I usually tag those kinds of posts as ‘eight salt’, a holdover from back when I was tagging salt by season and needed something to come after ‘seven salt’.  I’ve gotten a bit lax on it lately and there are things I consider borderline that I don’t tag.  I do think there needs to be noise about the way Shiro was treated, a lot more than there is, and I think there need to be a hella lot of tags on posts like that to show agreement.  Because eventually someone is going to try to reboot Voltron yet again and I think its important that they don’t look at the VLD fandom and come away with the idea that the only thing that was done wrong to Shiro was that he didn’t end up in a fandom popular relationship.  But at the same time I understand that its a wounding fight and a lot of people just want some rest and peace now that the show is over.  I’m tired myself.  Blacklist ‘eight salt’ and I’ll step up my game with my tagging.

Did Steve explain what made him quit competitive gaming this time (The last Valo run was one of the longest yet), and why he only wants to do content with 3 of his friends or solo? I'm happy for the switch but I'm also noticing that it happened after some of his friends fell into the CS:GO meta, specifically Baycon and the NLSS boys. It's funny because I remember DD talking about his finances on one of those CS streams then doing case openings while discussing gambling, lol.

Not sure. He last played on stream a few weeks ago and then played a day off stream and came back saying he was deleting a bunch of social media and friends from his discord. (including his riot acct btw) If there was a specific thing that caused it I don’t think he’s mentioned anything. He’s also had a negative reaction to most friendslop games for a while but he’s been extra strict with it recently saying he won’t even play if he gets invited to a lobby.

As far as the CS cases things go I don’t really know much about it. I guess for DD it’s a bit of a do as I say and not as I do situation. At least you can resell the skins you get so you can get some money back. I don’t think DD would be playing it if NL wasn’t interested in it though 🤷‍♀️

Baycon loves 5 stacking so it’s not surprising he would just play where he can 5 stack with people as much as possible. He did that when Marvel Rivals released as well.
