Me, genderfluid at 20: yeah so yesterday was a boy day and I was wearing a short-haired wig and jeans and a binder and the day before was a girl day so I was wearing a dress, and today is in between so it’s just a tshirt and jeans with my hair down

Me, technically genderfluid but mostly hanging out at maverique most days at 27: huh? no, I’ve been the same gender all week, it’s just that Monday I wanted to wear this skirt because it’s cute and I had my hair down because it’s cold outside, and then I got misgendered so Tuesday I had the top part of my undercut tied up under a hat and a man’s shirt and pants just because it makes people pause before they use gendered words, and Wednesday I paired the man’s shirt and hat with the skirt because I just really felt like performing gender that day. Today my hair’s just down because I forgot to bring a hat and my ponytail looks dumb as shit if I don’t have either a brush to make it pretty or a hat to hide it under, also it’s always easier to do nothing to my hair than something. I own a lot of skirts because they look cool and they’re not so difficult to size, plus these brands have pockets, which means I actually usually end up looking really femme if I’m somewhere I know I won’t be misgendered.
