pt three cuz it doesnt feel finished
Part one, Part two, Part three
in a surprising turn of events, you and the demon decide to team up. Sebastian is no longer grell's obsession, and he's never felt freerer. on the other hand, you are constantly on edge, wondering when grell will burst through the door to blabber about wedding preparations and all that. sebastian tells you that he's prepared to 'clean up your mess' and you agree since it's technically your fault she's here.
still, you should've read the fine print a little more.
'clean up the mess' turns more into a supernatural standoff.
"Michaelis." Grell scowls when the demon approaches him. You linger behind the butler, peeking out from behind his back.
"Jealous I moved on from you, so now you steal my darling?" Grell accuses. "As flattering as you are, I won't take you back. My heart belongs to another."
At that, she blows you a kiss and winks. You wilt. Sebastian barely even blinks.
"I've come to make a deal." He suggests. "Clearly you are interested in the human, as am I. Perhaps we could co-exist."
You snap your eyes up at him. What?
Grell surveys him. "What, are you suggesting we become co-wife and co-husband?" She sneers. "I could never share my darling that way."
Sebastian looks absolutely disgusted by her suggestion. "Nonsense." He makes a face. "I have no romantic interest in the human. I see the human as a timid mole who is blindly wandering around the pavement, unable to find its way underground. You cannot help but pity and adore it."
Wow, what a charmer. Even Grell looks taken aback by what he said.
With zero percent of your input, a deal is set in place. You will stay as a phantomhive maid for the rest of your contract. When it's up, you will go and live with Grell to be a happy married couple.
Grell skips off with glee, and Sebastian looks like a smug cat as he walks you back to the mansion.
"This was not how i thought that would go," you hiss to him because he essentially just sold you off to the reaper just for a year of peace.
Sebastian shrugs. "I will miss having you around." He pats your head. "I suppose this is like rehoming a pet." The fact that he looked genuinely disappointed enraged you.
"Don't pet me."
Later than night, there's a knock on your window. it's grell ofc. you're sighing but you open up the window regardless.
she's shoving a bouquet of red roses into your arms. her voice is uncharacteristically soft.
you silently note how pretty she is when she's blushing.
"I know you aren't ready for marriage." She admits quietly, "but I promise you I'll make a good wife."
"You haven't even asked me to marry you, yet." You point out. "You just...announced it."
She blinks as though she entirely forgot. "Oh...Oh yes! I will do that-"
"Also a couple should get to know eachother first before deciding on marriage. With dates and stuff."
Grell grows more and more flustered. "We-we should probably do that too." She admits sheepishly.
She's not human. She's a crazed, obsessed maniac that runs around with a chainsaw. Hardly wife material.
But you can't help the smile that spreads on your face as you smell the bouquet.
You give her a chaste kiss on the cheek. She freezes.
"Goodnight." You tell her.
"Goodnight." She repeats.
It's like she freaked out so hard, her mind went blank and her body went on autopilot. You watch her leave on stumbling legs. A hand is pressed onto the cheek you kissed.
She's a crazed, obsessed maniac...but maybe you like a little crazy.
boots & baseball caps !! ―chris x country singer! reader
You had played sold-out shows in Nashville, had won two CMAs, and had been on the cover of Rolling Stone in a sundress and cowboy boots, holding a guitar like it was a natural extension of your arm—well, because it was.
None of that prepared you for Chris Sturniolo's friends and family finding out about you.
"Wait," Nick said, standing in the kitchen doorway, pointing between you and Chris like he was solving a math problem. "You're dating her?"
"We've been over this," Chris said flatly, not looking up from his phone.
"I know but every time I see it in person it short circuits my brain a little."
You leaned against the counter and smiled into your coffee cup. You'd gotten used to this reaction—from his brothers, from the internet, from basically everyone who had ever seen the two of you photographed together outside a Whole Foods in LA looking like a fever dream. You in your going-out boots and a floral dress, him in a hoodie that may or may not have had a small stain on the sleeve.
Country sweetheart and chaotic YouTube Influencer, the headline had read. You had screenshotted it and sent it to your mom, who had simply replied: accurate.
"You don't even listen to country music," Matt said from the couch, also deeply invested in this conversation despite pretending to watch TV.
"I listen to her country music," Chris said, finally looking up. He said it so simply, so matter-of-fact, that it actually made your chest do something embarrassing.
"That's genuinely the sweetest thing you've ever said," you told him.
"Don't make it weird."
"You made it weird."
"I made it correct," he said, and then he was up off the couch and in the kitchen and stealing your cup with absolutely zero remorse.
"Hey—"
"You make it too sweet anyway." He took a sip and made a face. "How much creamer did you put in this."
"The right amount."
"This is not a beverage, this is a dessert."
You grabbed it back from him. "Then stop drinking my dessert."
He grinned at you—that specific Chris grin, the one that was slightly crooked and way too easy, and you thought, not for the first time, that you had absolutely no business falling for someone like him. You had a tour bus and a management team and a publicist who had nearly had a heart attack when the Whole Foods photos dropped.
And he had a ring light and a chaotic upload schedule and an inability to make his own coffee correctly. And somehow it was the best relationship you'd ever been in.
"For what it's worth," Nick said, still hovering in the doorway, "I think you're really good for him."
"Nick—" Chris started.
"You've calmed him down like forty percent."
"That's genuinely not true," Chris said.
"Last week you reminded him to eat lunch three days in a row." You pointed at Chris. "That's true, I did do that."
Chris looked between you and Nick with the expression of a man being very lovingly ganged up on, which was also true. He grabbed your coffee again just to be difficult.
"I'm going to write a song about you," you told him. He paused. "A good one or a sad one?"
You pretended to think about it. "Depends on if you give me my coffee back." He handed it back immediately.
You laughed, really laughed, and he was smiling too, that real one he didn't always let people see, and Nick had very wisely disappeared back into the hallway, and outside the LA sun was doing its best impression of a Tennessee afternoon, and you thought:
Yeah. This works.

I’m going to preface this by saying that the hate Kimi was getting is 100 percent wrong, he’s a rookie who made an honest mistake when he was trying to fight for a podium. It’s unfortunate that it benefitted Norris but it happens, and in all likelihood it wouldn’t make that much of a difference for Abu Dhabi anyway considering how much faster the McLaren car is than the rest of the field. Kimi still did a great job of holding Norris off as long as he did, and it’s thanks to his defense that Norris didn’t end up on the podium.
We were always going to need either an insanely goated strategy or a generational fumble by McLaren to win the championship next week. That hasn’t changed just because Norris managed to get past Kimi, it just means that we have a bit less wiggle room in a race where we had virtually zero anyway.
I also don’t think we should blame Max likely not winning his fifth on Kimi crashing into him in Austria because Max has won titles even with DNFs before. In fact three of his four championships were won in years that he had at least one DNF (2023 being the only exception). At the end of the day titles aren’t decided by a single race alone, and there are a lot of factors that play into why he fell so far behind in terms of points before the summer break. If Max doesn’t win the championship next weekend, it won’t be because of anything Kimi did or didn’t do.
Helmut Marko should also never be interviewed again, at least not if the interview takes place after 3pm because some of the things he says are beyond diabolical. GP I hold less responsible because in all fairness, he was only passing information to Max based on what the data was telling him, and it was said in the heat of the moment anyway. But Helmut directly accusing Kimi *after* the race of intentionally letting Norris by is ridiculous.
That all being said, the way fans of certain teams and drivers are trying to turn this into a fanwar instead of actually addressing the abuse itself says a lot about the types of people they are. If your response to a teenager receiving hate and death threats is to essentially go “see my driver’s fans are better than yours!” then I fear you should seek help immediately because you have entirely lost the plot.
a little mid90s drabble
notes : based on that one deleted scene where they’re at a fast food place
warnings : censored use of the n word—dialogue was copied from the scene.
notes : not rlly any ships just a group setting iykwim. also please send requestsssss, i need some ideas on what 2 write!!
scenario : after a long day of skating, you guys stopped by a fast food restaraunt and ray and fuckshit are arguing over ratings.
mid90s
“ when I started skating away, her eyes just followed and dropped straight to my dick.” Fuckshit motioned with his hands, recalling what had happened at the skatepark earlier.
Fourthgrade was showing you some of the videos he shot of you when you were skating, so you had currently tuned out the rest of the group
Ray squeezed ketchup onto his singular fry, raising an eyebrow at his statement.
“ but, you know that that girl was looking at me for real?” He asked, eating his fry.
“ n**** no,” fuckshit said, slamming his hands on the table, “ you know I got those looks, son.”
You and Fourthgrade looked up at this, making eye contact with Ruben
he dragged a hand over his face, hiding his smile and the fact he was silently laughing
you grabbed a fry out of Ruben’s plate, trying to refrain from saying anything.
“ What looks?” Ray asked, genuinely confused.
“ I’m an eight!” Fuckshit exclaimed confidently.
“ An eight?” Ray asked in disbelief, turning to look at you and fourth grade.
You and him shared a laugh, both looking down at the checkered tiles to avoid fuckshit’s glare.
“ No way in hell you look better than me.” He snickered.
“ I will bless you with a six and a half.” Ray said.
“ A six?” Fuckshit asked in disbelief.
“ And a half!” Ray shrugged his shoulders.
“ So you think you look better than me.” Fuckshit stated , pointing a finger at him.
“ A hundred percent.” Ray said automatically, leaning his elbows back on the booth.
“ It’s not even a question.”
“ Tell me the number.” Fuckshit said, dropping his shoulders when Ray didn’t answer.
“ I can’t do it to you.” Ray said.
“ What’s your number?” Fuckshit repeated, a huge smile on his face.
“ Just say a number. It’s one word.” He said, holding up a finger on each hand.
“ I’m a humble nine.” Ray stated, voice dead serious as he moved forward in his seat.
“ A nine?” Fuckshit exclaimed, tapping the table with his hands, looking around in disbelief
“ What the fuck?” He said, covering his face with his hands.
This elicited laughter from you, Ruben, and fourthgrade, all three of you guys sharing laughs as Ray just stared at yall.
Then, before anyone could say anything else, the bell above the restaurant door rung, interrupting the completely useless conversation.
“ Sunburn!” Fuckshit called out, looking up at the door.
“ Thought yo ass was doing ten to fifteen.”
“ Yeah, he was fucking scared for his life, you had a field day with your little ass in prison.” Ray said.
Stevie smiled, laughing softly as he walked over to the register
“ Yo, imma be honest,” You started, a smile taking over your face, “ if fuckshit’s a six and a half, and Ray’s a humble nine, then I’m a zero ‘cause yall are straight up lying.” You stated, holding your hands up as if to say ‘I said what I said’.
Fourthgrade laughed from beside you, holding up his camcorder to record the following conversation.
“ Aight, then what would you rate us.” Fuckshit asked, placing his hands flat on the table.
“ I ain’t even gonna answer that, but just know that yalls ratings are so fucking off.” You said, crossing your arms over your chest.
Ray rolled his eyes, picking up a fry and throwing it at you.
“ Yeah, yo ass is definitely not no humble nine.” You snickered, picking up the fry from your lap and chewing on it.
