This time... this time was different. The fear was there, together with the pain, but then... Oh, then.
Then he felt him, like feeling the sun on his skin and face. He heard him and smiled. How he missed his voice.
"it's ok. You can rest now."
And for the first time in years he wasn't scared of darkness anymore. For the first time he was at peace.
