It's been so long since I last sat down and did something from scratch that I was actually worried I didn't know how to draw anymore. Now it's 5am and I wonder if I'll ever finish this.

Living is stressful. I think I had an anxiety attack on a bus for the first time, I've watched three of my residents die at my work, both my grandfather figure and my grandfather-in-law died this year and I've been struggling to pay bills. This year is a whole lot of firsts for me; including my first apartment, first long-term job, first time moving provinces and first time meeting my half-sister after 25 years. It's not all been bad, just extremely overwhelming. I feel like, emotionally, I've been sort of stunted out of necessity and this is the state I always associate with Parsley. I miss the mountains. I miss the ocean. I miss knowing what to do and how to act, but most of all? I miss drawing. Sorry for being away so long. ;A; I'm trying to arrange my life back around to have more time for my art and internet friends again, but it's hard. I'm trying, I really am.
