Please 100% tell me to fuck off if this question is rude or smth, but: Will Nothing Gold Can Stay ever get dark in the future? Like, tragedy territory or such?

hmmmm ngcs will def have dark and tragic moments but i feel like it would antithetical to JRRT's world and themes to have it remain dark and depressing. which, okay, i see the irony of me saying it's anthithetical to themes while also curb stomping some of JRRT's well established and beloved world building moments. BUT!!! i believe sorrow and love are intertwined in literature and life in general and in Arda particularly. and for as much love as Cyr and her world has, it would be an untested, weaker love if it didn't endure sorrow too. she is a child of elvendom, and that means being an heir to grief and loss as long as she remains in Middle Earth.

so there will be dark times. but there will also be singing, and singing about the dark times. nothing evil truly endures.

Re-reading NGCS for the umpteenth time, and I can't wait for the moment Erestor and everyone else find out that Cyr built everything herself in her old forest home. The house, the grain store, the kiln, the tools, etc. They are going to flip out so hard. "A house. A child built a house. From scratch. By herself. ...With tools she made herself. Also from scratch."

Erestor is too smart not to put the puzzle pieces together of "child alone" + "malnourished" + "homestead exactly sized for a child, not an adult" = "child that was abandoned in the woods"

......but he doesn't acknowledge it because he's trying to avoid developing a drinking problem, thankyouverymuch. he's avoided it for 1000 years and he will NOT break his streak!!!!

It’s a good movie. I wouldn’t watch it all the times, but ever so often. Growing up if I saw it was on I would watch it. I watched it finally in full some years back. It’s not my favorite, but it was good.

Fun ^^Well for Animal, I always go back to loving some form of cat or dog. I love them. I really enjoy seeing the Maned Wolf at the Zoo.For Mythical/ Extinct Creature, I’ve aways had a thing for werewolves and vampires. For Extinct I’ve loved the TRex, Velociraptor, Megalodon, and Thylacine as known as The Tasmanian Tiger. Though that one I keep hoping can make a comeback in some fashion.For Sweets/candy/snack I enjoyed chocolates of some sort most of the time lol. Though I do love fruit candies as well like Jellybeans or Starbursts. Snacks I usually like a meat like a beef stick or chips.Foreign food, well that’s a bit harder. I enjoy Chinese like Cashew Chicken and Mongolian Beef. But I’ve also enjoyed of late Lemon Grass sort of thing from a Pho place. I also enjoy having some foods ever so often from where my ancestors came from.Favourite fruit is hands down Strawberries! I love them! I could eat them forever!
