actually it was on this bay area: radical housing FB group i just joined and thus i did not even go looking for this horrible, horrible thing. actually i’ve found the proportion of weird sex shit on that group much higher than CL, which is, well, something.

So I've seen some of your advice for how to approach roommates about helping you clean, but I find myself in a bit of a different dilemma. My mom sees mess and picks it up - I clean periodically regardless of how messy it is. I have asked her to write down a list of what she'd like cleaned and when, but she just retaliated with saying no, she's just going to do all the cleaning herself instead. I want to help, but I don't know how to get her to compromise with me. Any suggestions?
