Swift beats of the apocalypse [CLOSED]
He didn’t like being a killer. The thought of having blood on his hands never exited him or anything of the sort. Shit, when this all began he was just a kid with a passion for irony and turntables. People made him out to be a hero after a while. He wasn’t. If anything, he’d fucked up spectacularly. Even after reaching a level of power known as ‘God Tier’. Ha, some god he turned out to be. All he did was rock some stupid looking pajamas. Being called a ‘god’ didn’t really mean anything.
Though a certain someone convinced him otherwise. Her words were like poison, seeping into his veins. But in his mind, they were milk and honey. Everything she said just made sense. Before long, they’d made the best of several bad situations. As long as he stuck by her, he didn’t fuck up anymore. With her by his side, he actually accomplished something. They actually became gods. In their own minds, of course. But who would argue with them? Especially when they were capable of this.
Sector 4. Relatively overlooked, but by no means safe. The few skirmishes that took place were minor in comparison to the other sectors. He liked it here the best. Not as much screaming. The screams would likely take days to get out of his head once this was all over. But in the end, this had to be done. Such was war. As much as he hated it, he’d rather they die than him.
“Stop. Hammer time.”
A comical reference. But what followed was anything but. Everyone within the nearest vicinity. Every person. No, even more than that. Every object. Even the air itself. It was all frozen. Frozen in time. Years of honing his powers made something like this easy. And what’s more, being able to selectively choose who gets to be unfrozen. In this case, his allies from his world. It was only a small part of the sector, but this would do. He and Aradia would go around clearing out the rest of it in time. The otherworld soldiers who were unfrozen were now left with no opposition, the Hive Residents unfortunate enough to be nearby completely frozen and defenseless. And as the soldiers readied their guns, Dave knew what was about to transpire. As such, he turned around. Unable to face the consequences of their actions. But would he be able to drown out the sounds of bullets piercing through the flesh of innocents?
With a set of headphones and an Iphone, anything was possible!
“My anaconda don’t~ My anaonda don’t~ My anaconda don’t want none unless you got buns hun!”
Now, to take down the rest of this sector.
Greetings friends! The time duo of Alt!Dave and Alt!Aradia have made their way towards sector 4 in their quest to help their city win the war. Dave in particular will be taking a less active role, seeing as he’d rather not have blood on his hands. But his actions lead to deaths nonetheless. Aradia, on the other hand, will likely be taking a much more active role in attacking people.
They’ve only affected a small portion of the sector for now. But if left alone they’ll steadily make their way through the whole sector, along with the generic Otherworld soldiers. The soldiers themselves are usually not that big of a threat, but combined with Dave and Aradia, the situation can get very dire.
They’re essentially masters of time. Capable of speeding up, slowing down or even stopping it. This makes them a dangerous duo to contend with, especially when they can both apply their own versions of their time powers in different ways [Dave for example can pull doppelgangers of himself throughout various timelines into his to make an army of Daves. Though Aradia’s overall mastery over time is much stronger than Dave.]
If anyone is willing to step in and contend with them to drive them out, feel free to message me or Aradia mun! Someone’s going to have to save the day, after all.
Nothing but time [CLOSED]
Two cities in disarray. Complete chaos around every corner as two sides fight to survive. Or fight to stop each other from potentially losing their humanity. He’d seen both sides of the fight. New enemies being made. Mirror selves fighting to the death. Or old friendships being broken over how to deal with the situation correctly. Some clung to their morals. Others cast them aside, seeing their own lives as something far more valuable than their humanity. But where did he stand?
Did it matter? His mind had not been his own for years now, though he was wholly unaware of it. The screams of frenzied citizens died down in an instant. Not because death had taken them, no. But rather, because they’d run out of time. Dave Strider was among the many who’d joined in on the assault against the other version of their home, seeing it as the correct action to take. And while he had yet to claim a life, his actions were still directly responsible for countless deaths. The militia that spearheaded the assault took advantage of his powers and shot those who were frozen in time, unable to defend themselves. At the very least they’d die without experiencing pain.
Stepping forth from the shadows after the massacre of an entire city block was complete, Dave stood over the bodies of the fallen. Cigarette hanging low between his lips with Lil Cal peeking eerily over his shoulders. The puppets eyes changed colors vibrantly, though he’d stopped questioning that part of it years ago. There was nothing strange about Cal. Cal was his friend. Cal knew what was best. After 30 years, you pretty much become convinced of that. Even so..
“Not gonna lie, ram babe. This is leaving a pretty bad taste in my mouth.”
