wayward week:  day 4  --   wayward premiere / au.  ↳     claire finds kaia’s killer. 

After months (a season, you could say) of relentless hunting, Claire finally tracks down Kaia’s killer, only to be faced with a devastating reality: it is Kaia. Another version of her, at least. She still has every intention of getting her revenge, but when Michael’s monsters cut her interrogation short, the two become unlikely allies when Alt!Kaia saves Claire’s life. They strike a deal: if Alt!Kaia helps the girls with Sioux Falls’ infestation of Bad Place monsters, they’ll help her find a way home. It’s ... not how Claire saw her mission ending.
