what bands did yall start with and where are you now?

i was thinking about this earlier today because i have gone WAY further down the metal/hardcore rabbit hole than i thought about 5-6 years ago. I started with stuff like Skillet, 5 Finger Death Punch (terrible, i know), 3 Days Grace, Starset, and metal covers of pop songs and ended up with Tears of Avarel, septemberistheonlytimeidontthinkofyou, reagan youth, blasphemy, and a lot of grind/hardcore adjacent genres.

Was curious to know from other metal heads how far youve gone from what got you into the genre?
