Inspired by the art i seen by @dumbinkshark where they drew the Bloodmoon from the swapped dimension, and pointed out that Bloodmoon would be a solar model instead because they came from Sun's code in this dimension!

so i designed a solar model design for that dimension of bloodmoon. But! because they're a solar model, a moon model name simply wouldnt do. so in light of Killcodes name and propose, i present to you "Extinction"!

side note i find it funny i named them Extinction and then gave them raptor talons HAHAAAA

So like, i know the Mourning King Red timeline is mostly for our traumatized time traveller(s) bc otherwise theres not much left in the ashes to play around in, but CONSIDER:

Instead of the TT boys, MKR is instead found by his darling, his real true darling! He grins so wide at him and pulls out the dimension hopper, insisting theres nothing left for them in this world, that hes got a place set up for the two of them to be together forever! Oh he should have known better than to ever think he could have even been capable of hurting his darling! Of course his sweet clever perfect MK had replaced his body with... perhaps that had been a clone? And used the oppertunity to arrange their futures together! Sure their marriage wasnt very traditional, infact theyd basically eloped once they reached their new home, But he wasnt going to complain.

Of course he'd follow his darling to any dimension he'd like to set roots in. Especially since hes finally come to his senses about how horrible and poisonous his assumed 'friends' were.

He doesnt know why he's decided to atart calling him 'hot stuff' as his new term of endearment, but if Red's a good husband and does what MK tells him to then sometimes he'll bring back the long-missed 'Hun' and Red will be reminded that everything is right in the world again. They dont need anyone else but eachother, and everything will be wonderful from there.

Oh my gosh, this is an amazing idea, Anon! Everything about this is so so true! If Yandere MK managed to stumble upon that Mourning dimension, he would absolutely take advantage of the situation and steal King Red for his own... I guess... this is a best case scenario for both of them??? Yandere MK gets a Red who's compliant and will never disobey him, and King Red gets an MK who loves him and he never has to leave his side. So what if this MK is manipulative and controlling? So what if this Red clings to MK like he'll dissolve into smoke at any second? They're both so toxic, it's a perfect fit, to be honest. :U

I know Red Son would pretty much develop anxiety after seeing his possible future as Demon King Red but I think it'd be really relieving for him if another accident sent him to the timeline of Prince Red. At this rate, we can have a Spiderverse level crossover with all these Red Bois!!

Oooh having Red Son show up in Prince Red’s dimension instead could be so much fun! If we’re talking about the same version of Red Son from the Demon King Red time travel fiasco, then it would definitely be a relief for Red Son to meet this pacifist version of himself. He’s still a little concerned that the choices he’s made back in his dimension are so different from him that he’s already on a path to being that other, terrible version of himself.. but also the fact that Prince Red exists at all is a small comfort at least. And Prince Red would be very interested in this Red Son as well because he’s managed, despite his terrible decisions about staying loyal to his parents the past 500 years, to somehow get MK to be in a relationship with him and he’s wondering how Red Son managed that.. and also has MK given up being the Monkie Kid in his dimension and if so how did he convince him?? Prince Red isn’t going to want to hear that the thing preventing him from being in a relationship with MK is the fact that he keeps insisting MK give up on being the Monkie Kid, but it’s the sad truth.

Of course, if this isn’t that same Red Son and it’s Classic Red Son who is still loyal to his parents and an enemy of the Monkie Kid things would be pretty different. This gremlin version of himself with a feral laugh and an inferiority complex the size of Buddha’s hand is not something Prince Red is super excited to deal with. When Red Son first appears through some sort of mishap with a magical artifact, Prince Red was definitely concerned for him and wanted to help him out.. but then the more he interacted with Red Son and learned about the choices he’s made back in his dimension, the less eager he was to be around him. Not only has this version of himself completely forgotten the lessons he learned from his mentor Guanyin, but he’s still loyal to his parents.. the parents who are so obsessed with their own terrible goals that they barely give him the time of day unless it’s convenient for them to do so. It’s embarrassing how this Red Son behaves.

Red Son himself is extremely put off by how weak this version of himself is and kind of furious that not only is he disloyal to his parents, but are he and the Noodle Boy dating or something??? That’s so unfair! ..Not that he’s interested in dating the Noodle Boy or anything. He’s definitely not jealous! So after he learns all of this about Prince Red he gets annoyed and runs off, determined to find his parents and assist them in this new, strange dimension since that useless version of himself won’t. When he finds them, at first I think they treat him just like they treat Prince Red normally and dismiss him, but then he shows them something interesting that Prince Red has definitely not invented in this dimension: the gauntlet that lets him wield the Monkey King’s staff. Suddenly PIF and DBK are listening very closely :U

Now it’s a mad rush for MK and Prince Red to capture Red Son and send him back to where he came from before he causes even more harm by actually helping Red’s parents.

Time Travel, oh thats great, Classic Red be here like 'King Me is crazy and a disgrace to our family name, i REFUSE to let this happen tell me everything...ah I see...I'll uh... I'll tell my parents 'Operation: Behind enemy lines' won't work. DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT I JUST SAID I'M NOT GONNA DO IT'

Oh that’s fun!! In the instance where it’s ONLY Red Son who shows up in this AU, it’s fun for it to be a time travel thing instead of an alternate dimension. Maybe it’s even a version of past Red Son who is in the middle of executing this plan to betray MK, but he gets flung into a future in which the family he’s trying to help has been destroyed and he himself has turned into a monster.

This version of Red Son still loves MK a normal, non-obsessive amount and is horrified by what his future self is doing to him too. So yes, getting a glimpse of the future awaiting him, he resolves to forget his plans to betray MK to his parents. When all these time travel shenanigans are done and he’s finally sent back to his own time, he goes to find MK immediately and hugs him and just refuses to let go.... I don’t know if he’d tell MK exactly what he witnessed because it’s kind of horrifying, but I think what he would do is confess about his plans with his parents and beg MK’s forgiveness. That ends up being a pretty big fight.. although not so much a fight as it is MK being furious with Red Son and needing some space for a few days... but he did come around and tell him, so they end up back together again. Haha, this is the only good ending to this whole Demon King Red AU I’ve ever written and it’s only a scenario where Demon King Red ends up not existing at all :P

Ok, on the one hand I absolutely love the King Red and Prince Red AUs by themselves separately. But on the other hand I am that person who does stuff like read 20 nearly identical coffee shop slow burn AUs for the same pairing. So I have to ask, if the alternate past dimension Red Son thing happened with Prince instead exactly how much of a disaster would that turn out to be for all sides? Because I imagine that going incredibly poorly emotionally on all fronts (at least until Prince proves he isn't like King or if he has his own MK to protec and vouche for him).

Ooh, so you mean if instead of Red Son being flung into a the Demon King Red future, it was Prince Red instead? I like that idea.. it definitely hits differently from classic Red Son because Prince Red is in a similar and yet very different position to King Red. He’s got a court and he’s trying to convince MK to come join him there, but he’s not doing so by force and he doesn’t want to kill any of MK’s friends to do it.

The thing that sticks out is the two Red’s relationship to their parents. While Prince Red has stopped being loyal to them from the very beginning of the series, King Red was loyal to them up until the very last second. That difference may help to ease some of Prince Red’s anxiety about somehow becoming like this worst version of himself, but the similarities between the two definitely scare him. The fact that he’s in charge of a court of demons, that he’s trying to get MK to come join him at the palace, the desire to protect MK, and the apparently one-sided nature of their relationship.. (Prince Red’s isn’t actually so one-sided but he still doesn’t know that for sure since his MK rejects his proposals so much) and Prince Red is a good enough person that he doesn’t want to gloss over these similarities and would take a hard look at his own actions to make sure he wasn’t overstepping in his interactions with his own MK once he got back..

As for how things would go with Prince Red showing up in that dimension.. I think he would want to do everything he could to help this version of MK. It’s not his MK, but he’s still feels that protective instinct towards him, especially when he witnesses the fear that comes over him when they meet for the first time. However his resemblance to King Red who’s been tormenting MK makes it so Prince Red doesn’t want to be around MK too much because he knows it will stress him out, so rather than team up with MK and his friends, he would make the decision to go straight to Sun Wukong and try to work something out between the two of them.. This dimension’s version of Wukong appears to be actually taking the situation seriously and is looking out for MK (something Prince Red is furious at his version of Wukong for not doing enough) so he’d want to try and find a way to defeat King Red without having to involve MK or his mortal friends, and Wukong is definitely the person to go to in order to come up with that kind of plan.

Meanwhile Demon King Red is furious when he learns the details of this new version of himself who’s showed up.. not only is he some kind of weak pacifist when it comes to mortals like MK’s treacherous friends, but he’s been disloyal to his parents but dared to take ownership of their court anyway?? King Red may have fled when his parents were about to die, but he’s still loyal to them and loved them very much. He views Prince Red’s attitude towards his own family as a dishonor to their memory and won’t stand for it.

How badly do you think things would get if due to shenagains, the regular Traffic Light Trio gets dropped into the King Red au?

First of all it depends on where they get dropped.. if we’re assuming this is similar to the previous alternate dimension plot that I had an ask about then whatever it was that caused them to be summoned into this AU probably needed the originals to be present in order for this to happen. So let’s continue to go with the scenario of King Red is fighting MK and Mei when an artifact interacts with them and their past or alternate dimension versions appear.. haven’t decided whether past or alternate is more fun yet so I’ll leave that open.

Red’s reaction would definitely be different from when it was just an alternate Red Son, because if there is another version of MK here too he would probably not even pay his alternate any mind and would not hesitate to snatch this new MK up. New MK is kind of disoriented and not sure what is happening so it’s easy to grab him and whisk him away in all the mayhem. He barely even puts up a fight.

That leaves Mei and MK to deal with alternate Mei and Red Son. If they’re from the past where those two are not friends, then it’s going to be super hard on Red Son because Mei and MK are not going to want anything to do with him, and his Mei wouldn’t stick up for him because he’s still an enemy... so what might be fun is if this is actually an alternate dimension scenario. Maybe one where Red Son actually didn’t go through with betraying MK to his parents and STAYED with him as his boyfriend?? Oh, yeah I like that a lot actually! That would mean that alternate MK has been dating Red Son for like a year now so he’s over at the palace wondering what the hell happened to his boyfriend here if he’s got this huge fancy palace and is a KING and alternate Mei and Red Son are fending off a furious MK and Mei who do not trust this new or rather old??? version of Red who is in front of them.

Since alternate Mei would be there to stick up for Red Son in that situation tho, they could probably get MK and Mei to calm down long enough to see they needed to all work together to save alternate MK. Meanwhile alternate MK is supremely confused, because this King version of his boyfriend is kind of manic and won’t stop hugging him and kissing his neck and like, it’s not technically cheating he guesses because this IS his boyfriend or a version of him... Even if alt MK is okay with King Red being all over him, he would definitely start to get concerned when Red did not want him to go back to find his Mei and Red Son. The final straw would be when he eventually saw Macaque around the palace. Then he’d realize oh no, this version of my boyfriend is a villain.
