The last thing he remembered was screaming desperately in a void, having to survive no matter what then nothing. 10,000 years of suffering, scheming, planning to survive and that was what it amounted to, nothing. He never escaped his father in the end, that woman said he was just like his father.
Oh well. It seemed in the afterlife he retained some sort of consciousness. He flexed his fingers and stood up, confirming he could still move around. His memories of everything else were a blur, the painful memories, screaming, struggling, of dying still present in his mind. Perhaps that was how it was always meant to be, right from the start he was not born a child to be loved but to be torn apart between his two sides, the beautiful alteans of the past and his ugly galran side. he had wanted to section himself off and show only his beautiful side to Allura, but this was the result.
It seemed his galran side was truer. It seemed he was his fathrer’s son. Oh well, he thought again. He was used to failure, he had lost everything, so he simply needed to recalculate his strategies again for whatever this next life was going to bring him.
He could try to climb to the top and futilely be smacked down again. That was all he knew. Then suddenly, he turned his eyes and saw her standing there. What cruel mockery is this... “Allura. You don’t belong here princess. You bested me, you defeated the villain doesn’t that mean you should live...?”
