╰☆╮ This whole place seemed like a dream to him. Sure, it felt real and Lance could touch objects and grasp them fully instead of just grabbing at them only to find his dream hands couldn’t grasp the things fully in his view. As surreal as it felt, Lance quickly found himself adapting. After all, with him visiting as many planets and places as he had, finding himself in a foreign place really didn’t seem to phase him as much as it would have before. All in all, after everything he had been through, even if he seemed kind of trapped here, it wasn’t all bad.
The one thing that pushed him back into thinking this whole thing was a dream, was the person that he had just so happened to come across in passing by chance.
Today had been like any other normal day. Lance had been out in the town, getting something to eat, when passing by someone seeming to be looking at flowers in a nearby shop caught his attention. It was a pretty girl, so of course Lance was interested, but the hair was what caused him to stop and do a double take in her direction. Only when he did so, Lance could feel that painful ache in his heart begin to return. One he had thought he was long gone.
“Wait a second...”
“There’s no way...” His stares lingered for a moment longer, perhaps a little too long, before his feet were finally moving him forward. He had to know, he just had to know.
This was a dream, wasn’t it? That’s the only thing going through his mind as he made his way over towards her. The moment I reach her - the moment I touch her, she’ll disappear. Even with those thoughts, Lance couldn’t stop himself from reaching out a shaking hand and gently touching her arm to get her attention, expecting the worst as he did so. However, unlike his dreams, his hand didn’t go through his arm. Instead, it connected and that allowed their eyes to meet. Lance was sure his own were wide in surprise as he stared into those beautiful eyes once more.
“....Allura?”
