Tiny travel alter for Lady Hestia ❤️

I thought a year ago when I started looking at witchcraft that I'd be more attuned to water (I grew up on the beach, on an island, I studied marine sciences in university, I swam competitively). I picked up beach rocks and driftwood and seaglass, river pebbles etc, placing them on my alter trying to make something that represented me.

Since then I've added and taken away from my alter as felt right, picking up things from walks to add just because my intuition liked whatever treasure I was looking at. Looking at my alter now, I can see the nods to water, but now air feels so much more present 🍃🐝

I've always been caught up in who I should be, but if I listen to my gut I find something different, maybe even something more, and I like it 💛

Just a few additions for my Spring Equinox alter.

I haven't had the best year, both when it comes to mental/physical health and also being consistent with my practice.

Last Samhain I remember making the resolution that I wouldn't let anxiety stop me from diving in head first to things. Admirable I guess, but ultimately unhealthy for me. Looking back and reflecting, as someone who has many issues, I really do need to take things one step at a time, slowly and at my own pace.

It's ok to take your time. It's ok to set your own pace. It's ok to do the best you can, one day at a time.

It’s much easier to use and find stuff now. I have all my seperate supplies that I dont use to often in a box. Salts, small amount of herbs, funnel for pouring stuff, ect.
