2, 9, 13 for the ask game? :3
MONTHS LATER we finally remember to post this answer!
2. Which headmates are the unlikely couple?
• Hmm. Honestly this was a tough one! My (Roane) first instinct was to say Susie (Deltarune) & Pomni (TADC) but given some thought they actually make some sense, especially with how anxious our Pomni is. Asked partner system & their bid for most unlikely was Nova & Li.
Which... I can see seeming unlikely, I suppose? Nova is November 11 from Darker than Black but identifies as a he/him lesbian & physically transitioned so already majorly different from his canon source. Li split off from Hei, also from Darker than Black, when he was visiting from our partner system - if you consider their canon, they are a damn unlikely pair. Still though, when you have couples like Bo (creepypasta hybrid creature) married to a 10ft tall 7-eyed werewolf former demon familiar/shadow things like "ok but they'd never wind up together in canon" seem a little less unlikely by comparison lol!
9. Are there any headmates from a specific state/country/etc different from the body?
• Most of them lol! MANY fictives means MANY different states/countries/worlds/dimensions of origin. I'd say by percentage Brits make up at least 40% of the system; there's also a surprising French presence thanks to the St Louis SideSystem holding so many fucking vampires from there lmfao. Surprisingly small Latinx presence considering the body is half-Irish & half-Mexican but we were raised VERY whitewashed so that actually makes sense. Valentinè (Hazbin, transfemme Val) & Vaggie are probably our most EXPLICITLY Latinx alters.
13. What headmate has a skill that the body doesn't usually, but when they front the body gets it (or almost gets it)?
• Well, months after getting this ask we finally have an answer lol. Cam is the ONLY system member who isn't actively triggered by maggots & is in fact ambivalent to them. This might not sound like a skill, but believe me, it is.
(For some context, the body has unfortunately experienced large amounts of them ON THE BODY more than once, so they are one of the very few things that actively gives the body a major flight/panic response.)
