Corseted Wedding dress by Gerry Via Flickr: This elegant form fitting mermaid gown can be custom made to fit your measurements and specifications. It can be made in your choice of fabrics and colors. The pictured gown is silk duchess satin, interlined with silk organza. The "under-dress" is black silk Georgette. The skirt base is taffeta with lots and lots of netting, tulle to help create this unique shape. Underneath the dress is a cotton tulle Corselette, which is constructed much in the same way as a corset. The corselette is a part of the dress itself, its foundation. It is very thin and fits like a glove. It is also very lightweight, breathable and comfortable. This gown can be fitted in person or via remote fittings. If you are unable to come in person you can fill out a comprehensive measurement form. A mock up of the corselette will be shipped to you along with instructions for fitting it, in the same way as my custom corsetry. The dress will be built around the corselette.
