Today's WIP~

I decided I needed to make something whimsical to deal with these dark unprecedented times. So I present some whimsical strawberry pincushions that I made out of scrap fabric. They are about 2 inches tall so prefect for sewing kits or trinket shelves.

I will be listing them probably Friday or sooner idk yet. Just enjoy the whimsy for now...

It’s made with the hem of a pair of pants, fabric paint, a button, soda tabs, a sewing needle, and some thread! I am insanely proud of this and I love it sm <333

misc diys ! shirts are all handpainted, i added the dog tag to my old choker, painted the patches aside from the ones on my jacket ! those are pulled from old tshirts i couldnt fit after losing weight so i repurpose the scrap for alot lol. i also made the black spiked bracelet & made the fingerless gloves from a pair of kids gloves :) ive also altered the zebra print skirt from an old pair of shorts & its a work in progress aswell !!

ok rly random and likely dumb question, but when making patch/battle jackets is there a reason most patches are white text on black fabric?

mostly asking because i’m working on adding more patches to mine and i kinda wanna use different color text just cause i don’t have much white left, but i just wanna be sure it doesn’t have some meaning i don’t know about (like the lace code or similar), or if there’s another reason

but uh ya just wondering, and aso would ye like to see the jacket when it’s done? :3
