my translation patch for Haruko Maniax has entered its final editing phase!

just wanted to share how my image edits are looking in-game - this is one of the trickier parts of the patching process, as you have to meticulously match all of the transparencies and boundaries to those of the original images, while also trying to maintain the same style of text.

please look forward to its release within the next month or so. 

a few other updates: 

i have also finished the first draft of Kimi ga Nozomu Eien’s First Chapter. this means that everything in the game up to the accident has been translated.

I loved working with this months Paper Pumpkin.   It was so much fun and I just didn’t want to stop.   Here’s the cards made by following the kit instructions.   Must of the Alternative projects were created by using left overs from the kit.   The parts that normally would have been tossed in the trash, some card bases, and a few other items.

here’s the third episode of the ARG Test Cast, which features the return of yours truly to the show. this time, we branch off from the kickstarter a bit to talk about how we at Alternative Projects do our translations, the work involved to create a final patch, and the legality of fan translations in general. there are a few lovely tidbits of news included about KimiNozo, Altered Fable, and more, so do give it a listen.

i apologize for my voice being so throaty at the beginning - since we’re all so spread out across a 16-hour timezone gap, we have to choose a time to record that works for everyone. being in PST, i end up having to bite the bullet and do the record working off ~3 hours of sleep, ahah.
