Howdy, everyone!

I've created a Pillowfort Community called Tumblr Users for anyone who would like to join it and get the hang of (and how to use) Pillowfort. This is especially true for those who are paranoid about if Tumblr's ever going to shut because of a very phobic dumbass who is constantly laying people off (yes, I mean @/photomatt). I know I've been incredibly pushy, persistent, and annoying about wanting people to join Pillowfort, but what's the worst that could happen? You don't like it. Plain and simple. Do I think Tumblr is gonna shut down anytime soon? No. Do I think it'd hurt for people to give alternative websites a chance? Also, no.

I'm kind of freaking out right now. My mom took away my stim toys. She said I would get the back when I learn how to behave in public. I was just flapping my hands because I was happy for being at McDonald's. I going nuts here because I really need to stim and I don't have how. Can you help me with some alternatives for stimming?

Some alternatives and subtle stims:-Tapping your fingers on your leg-Tracing words/shapes on your hands with your index finger-think about your special interest (if applicable)-listen to music and just breathe-wriggle your toes-recite song lyrics in your head-people watch (be a Sherlock and try and guess their lives- it can be kind of fun) Try to avoid excessive staring though as that’s Bad?-if you are wearing a jacket, play with the zipper-jewelry or piercings? Play with it.

Stoat and Gen AI

With all of that being said and done, and as much as I genuinely abhor Generative AI (especially as someone who has a degree in Creative Writing and English) as well as hating how NEXT TO NOBODY takes the Liberal Arts and Fine Arts seriously, I'm willing to give Stout the benefit of the doubt and here's why:

Even though Firefox has embedded Gen AI bullshittery into their browser, they have added the ability to turn off everything pertaining to the use of Gen AI because they know they fucked up.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 originally had a placeholder image made from Gen AI in it and they removed it not even a month after released because they know they fucked up. I'm still not happy about them winning GOTY, but whatever.

Stoat removed any and all Gen AI code over a month ago and owned up to their mistakes realizing they fucked up.

So, without further ado, if you'd like to give Stout a try then feel free to head over to their website and download it. It's pretty stinking similar to Discord in terms of overall setup and whatnot.
