PILLOWFORT COMMUNITY FOR TUMBLR USERS

Howdy, everyone!

I've created a Pillowfort Community called Tumblr Users for anyone who would like to join it and get the hang of (and how to use) Pillowfort. This is especially true for those who are paranoid about if Tumblr's ever going to shut because of a very phobic dumbass who is constantly laying people off (yes, I mean @/photomatt). I know I've been incredibly pushy, persistent, and annoying about wanting people to join Pillowfort, but what's the worst that could happen? You don't like it. Plain and simple. Do I think Tumblr is gonna shut down anytime soon? No. Do I think it'd hurt for people to give alternative websites a chance? Also, no.

So we don't know much about Emma-May but her name implies she's a southerner like Fiddleford and I get the impression from the Christmas chapter she may have been a bit of a firebrand. Given Fidds usual non confrontational nature I could see him having been married to a confident and strong willed woman who balanced out his anxiety.

We also know in the show that at least Tate eventually moved to Gravity Falls.

So if say... Fidds left his wife for Ford, and Emma moved to Gravity Falls to make it easier to share custody of Tate. Now there's a new single mom in town with a feisty personality.

Surely no one would fault Stan for shooting his shot right?

Stoat and Gen AI

Now I was curious and wanted to look into the whole shtick with Stoat Chat using GenAI in their code and this is what I found down below via DuckDuckGo's Search Assist and the two sources. Take the two screenshots however you want:

With all of that being said and done, and as much as I genuinely abhor Generative AI (especially as someone who has a degree in Creative Writing and English) as well as hating how NEXT TO NOBODY takes the Liberal Arts and Fine Arts seriously, I'm willing to give Stout the benefit of the doubt and here's why:

Even though Firefox has embedded Gen AI bullshittery into their browser, they have added the ability to turn off everything pertaining to the use of Gen AI because they know they fucked up.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 originally had a placeholder image made from Gen AI in it and they removed it not even a month after released because they know they fucked up. I'm still not happy about them winning GOTY, but whatever.

Stoat removed any and all Gen AI code over a month ago and owned up to their mistakes realizing they fucked up.

So, without further ado, if you'd like to give Stout a try then feel free to head over to their website and download it. It's pretty stinking similar to Discord in terms of overall setup and whatnot.
