TikTok is a shithole.
Have I said how much I hate TikTok yet?
It has become this app that makes gen Z think that they’re some group of superheroes that are gonna change the world or whatever. Going to protests is not special. Every generation thinks they’re so amazing, and every generation has done a lot of good stuff too.
They’re getting MATCHING TATTOOS? Literally for what- ? Worst of all is, that it’s literally a nazi symbol too.
Can we stop pretending that tiktok is an amazing app that gives kids confidence? Because all it does is create people with an individuality complex who bully everyone who doesn’t fit their “alternative liberal” standard.
I’m not even gonna start talking about the romanticizing of mental illnesses, trauma, self harm and eating disorders, sexualizing of minors or how toxic their “cancel culture” is. I fucking hate tiktok so much, it ruins teenagers their mental health.
